The 6th Annual Beantown Jazz Festival featured more than 15 national and local jazz acts, representing a wide variety of jazz styles including straight ahead, Afro-Cuban, and cutting edge acts incorporating funk, hip-hop and gospel elements.

More than 50,000 people took in the three day festival that featured shows at Berklee and the legendary Wally’s Jazz Club just down Mass Ave. All Saturday gigs were free and held on three stages along a sprawling festival Site in the South End, just blocks from Berklee.
