Halloween 2009 at Time Supper Club
Time lies in the industrial underbelly of downtown Montreal, lone, and unhindered by the competition. It is one of the first true supper clubs to spur up in MTL, a trend inspired by our southern party counterparts: Miami and NYC. The concept is based on entertainment dining; a team of young talented chefs toy’s with one’s palette, while the DJ subtly raises the energy of the room until midnight, henceforth the party lets loose. The ceiling is high, making you feel small, the lighting is red/orange giving an instant tan to all, the décor is off-white plush, and the music makes you move (house and some hip hop). The club is parted by a thin catwalk, red-lit from below, frequented by the unrepressed who sometimes tumble off gracelessly into the glam orgy. The 20’s-30’s crowd is trendy and attractive, but often outshone by the staff in their angelic-like uniforms. Although Time is the epitome of “see and be seen”, it manages to deliver a robust party…
