Sunoco board chair says gas prices are “painful,” but “people are still filling their cars up”

Ray Washburne, the board chairman of Sunoco and the chair of next week’s Republican midterm convention, called gas prices “painful,” but he noted that “the refineries are turning more” oil out for consumers. “People are filling their cars up and they’re still driving,” he said.
