Title: Only good for the first spray
Review: Don’t buy this gun! The main chamber of the gun gets gunked up with paint, and the chamber is hard to clean and it is hard to see where the paint gunk is (or to see whether the chamber is clean).Also, the trigger gets stuck, and it is hard to determine what to clean in order to get the trigger un-stuck. With the trigger being stuck, one has to manually get the trigger un-stuck with the non-painting hand.I missed the deadline for returning this gun 🤬

Took a few minutes to get everything set right but after I did it laid out nice.It did loose fluid a cpl times and bent one of the needles but that was operator error.I appreciated the accessories although the filters are useless.I would purchase again and actually plan on it for clear coats.

Review: Purchase has A lot of parts that go along with it. As long as you follow the instructions. You should be fine. Definitely recommend practicing with it before starting on your main project. Coverage is smooth and precise. Minimal leakage. Had some leakage in the beginning, but that was a user error and not a mechanical one. Slightly difficult to change out pieces, but overall worth it in the end seems to detach and broken down easily. Cleaning actually the easiest of all of my spray guns. will buy again when this one stops working.

Review: Just replaced my hood from a deer hit and my previous hood was horribly rock chipped- I have used this material before on another car with great results so I installed the protection film on the new hood- so far no rock chips- this is the best thing you can do to protect the leading edge of any painted surface from gravel/small rock damage. its invisible, you can barely see the edge and past vehicles, it has never faded or turned yellow.

Review: I have metal clad patio doors and a smart young poodle that has learned we open the door using paddle style knobs.Now he tries to work the paddles to come inside despite the fact he has his own “doggie door” two paces away.The result is accumulating shallow, unsightly scratch marks in the metal on the door below the paddles. I wanted something that would protect the metal cladding. A quick search online turned up this product and the videos demonstrating it’s use convinced me to try it.It worked perfectly. I also learned that, at least in this application, it is slightly self healing. In other words, slight blemishes such as tiny bubbles or small wrinkles tend to work themselves out.Another upside is the covered surface actually looks better than the original. The biggest disappointment with this product is I don’t have another place to use it.

Review: This stuff is HARD to put on cleanly without fingerprints and bubbles. I consider myself handy and meticulous, but I failed at the task of applying this to my curved back bumper horizontal surface. I was protecting new paint and new car from big dog claws jumping in and out of my SUV. The product is thick enough and has some stretch to it. but I was unsuccessful at laying it down dead smooth, and my re-tries created finger prints on the sticky side. It does the job, but if you are not going on a dead flat surface, and can spend a couple hundred dollars, you might be better going to a shop that applies clear bras on cars. Don’t get me wrong, this is not 3Ms fault, I just over-reached the task and my expectations. The resulting product will do the job, and looks fine 10 feet away. Just an FYI.

You cannot wear these shoes without this applied. This product also give the shoe some grip so you do not slip on smooth surfaces. Cheap, easy to apply, and durable. Title: Use Use Slip/Tack Solution
Review: I used this product to cover inner sill surface on my car to help reduce scuffs to the car vinyl caused by getting in and out of the vehicle. It can be cleanly removed when necessary.The product shipped in a tight roll specific to what I’d ordered (6″x60″). I hung the roll vertically indoors for a couple days with improvised weight at the bottom.The product will tend to curl and stick to itself when the liner is removed so make sure you mist tack solution on sticky side before t has a chance to do so. Mist tack solution to substrate before peeling liner. then mist some on sticky surface. Once applied to substrate, use slip solution on gloss surface of vinyl film and glide flat, smooth-edged bonding tool to remove liquid and bubbles.Slip/tack solution recipes and application techniques are all over YouTube.

Basecoat

Pour out the amount of basecoat needed to complete your project. Keep in mind the reducer will double what’s in your paint cup.

Note: If you’re not using the LiME LiNE disposable paint liners with the filter in the lid (as shown) you will want to use a cone style paper filter to strain the paint.

Reducer

You will need to reduce your basecoat to make it spray smooth through your paint gun or airbrush.

Mix in reducer 1:1 (50/50)

Note: This is not a hard rule add more reducer for smaller tip spray guns or airbrushes.

Mix thoroughly using a reusable stir stick.

Spray

Spray 3 coats or until full hide is achieved.

Title: This paint can truely do it all
Review: I had to give Rust-Oleum a shout out because this is the first primer paint I’ve EVER found that can be sprayed directly on metal or over bondo and it makes a great primer and 1st layer paint. Rust doesn’t appear, unlike a lot of primers I’ve tried. I wouldn’t use anything else ever again. Great stuff!

Title: Works great if you take your time and don’t rush.
Review: I had a dump trunk drop some rocks on me and gouge the plastic in my bumper. I had someone try to touch it up for me, but without extensive work, it looked pretty bad (photo 1#). Using the 040 white base coat, followed by the 070 white pearl, then the 00C clear coat with some sandpaper and polish, I was able to repair the damage myself. Be sure to clean the area well with Dawn soap to remove any wax. Avoid touching the chip with your fingers so you don’t introduce oils to the area. If your plastic is gouged and has raised edges like mine (it looked like teeth marks), use sandpaper to remove any raised spots. Take your time with the base coat and use the brush. The ball point on top of the bottle is useless. Just put down enough so that it’s completely white and that no metal or plastic is showing underneath or at the edges of the chip (photo #2). Once that dries, add the pearl coat. I did a few coats of that, then used 1000 and 1500 grit wet sand paper to work out any raised spots and smoothed it down (photo #3). Then I gave it one last light coat and hit it gently with 2000 grit. Once that dries, I added the clear coat. You can apply the clear coat past the edges of the chip. Once that fully dries, use 1000 grit, then 1500 grit, and finally 2000 grit wet sand paper to smooth it out. Finally, use something like Mother’s polish to bring back the shine (photo #4). Give the paint a few days to cure, then add wax. I can barely tell that I had a pair of 1/2″ gouges next to each other on the edge of my bumper.

Review: I used this on my Honda and it was just clear coat so just as advertised. Be careful when opening up the bottle the fumes were nasty. Don’t rush and apply slowly and generously so you don’t worry about putting too little and some spots are still open. It’s pretty watery.

Title: Pretty Much All You Need (BUT)
Review: This is a great paint touch up package only missing a few items. The paint color, clear coat, and sanding tip are all great for this type of project, but you can make it even better by taking a few more steps. I’ve tried the Dr. ColorChip formulas but found them a bit wanting. If you are just repairing tiny (and not deep) scratches or chips, this ACDelco Four-In-One-Touch-Up Paint kit will do the job. But if you are dealing with heavier hits, like stones or debris from the highway, a bit more effort will give you a much more satisfactory result. Before attempting this type of repair, try out the technique on a piece of painted metal that you can put a similar chip in. Also important here in your testing is to replicate the surface to be repaired. If it is a flat surface like a hood, that is one thing, but if it’s a vertical surface like a front bumper, a whole different touch is required. The laws of gravity can ruin your efforts if you don’t take them into consideration.Order a Pratley Powda Bond kit, an automotive plastic glue that you can buy on Amazon. Before mixing and applying this glue, use the sanding chip included in the ACDelco package or buy the ‘Extra Thin Fiberglass Scratch Brush’ on Amazon for about $12.00. Using a magnifying class with the fine tip scratch brush will allow you to make certain that you have a clean and abraded surface to apply the Powda Bond to. Always use eye protection and gloves when working with fiberglass scratch pens to avoid the tiny pieces that can flake off and cause a problem for you.Mix the ingredients in the Pratley Powda Bond kit to the consistency of thick paint. After cleaning out the chip, dab a small amount of the Powda Bond mixture into the hole to be repaired, smoothing it out until it evenly fills the hole. Use the magnifying glass to check your progress and try to avoid overfilling it since there must be enough space left over for the ACDelco paint and clear coat. If it’s a really deep chip, use another small amount of the Powda Bond, let it dry, and then sand very lightly with a 2000 grit sandpaper. Now apply a very small amount of the ACDelco paint and (if required) add additional layers until the paint is even with the surface. The magnifying glass comes in very handy for this purpose assuming that you have a good light source to examine your job. If the paint does not dry completely flat, again very gently sand the painted surface, taking care not to sand any of the surrounding area. After that, apply the clear coat finish, let it dry, and buff it with a rubbing compound until the repaired area matches the surrounding undamaged paint.You can see why practicing on another piece of painted metal first can be an effective way to test your talents and maybe improve upon them before attacking the real problem. The whole theory of touch-up paint repair is to make it as invisible as possible, a task that takes a bit of effort to perfect. Once you have it down, it’s easy to impress your friends with your new skill. Be careful who you show it to or you may soon be moonlighting in a new profession.

Review: I bought his after a fellow street rod builder recommended it from his frame build. Two years later that one still looks great. I also got a great finish on my car frame with HVLP gun and no thinner needed; sticks like glue. I read all the reviews before I shelled out that kind of cash. The quality compares to the difference between enamel paint and epoxy paint. Get what you pay for. But you must prepare the surface and sand or wire brush most the rust away first. If you expecting flaked rust to be renewed your looking for a unicorn and will be unhappy.The only reason I’ve given it 4 is because I’m waiting for test of time to see if it peels or flakes over time.

Minimal prep involved unlike por15, wire brush and a wire wheel gets it done. Can spray it or use a brush I did both no issues. Expensive but I purchased 2 more quarts cause I was that impressed. Review: Used this on my 98 explorer exterior plastic trims. While I’d does make everything look new it did take several coats to get the finished look.I removed each piece, cleaned them and scrubbed with fine steel wool. Then applied this paint until they looked new, added clear coat and left them inside the vehicle to bake for a couple weeks. The vehicle looks phenomenal for its age.Great on wiper arms and other areas too.

Review: I bought this as it is what ChrisFix recommended for re-painting rims after removing rust off them.My only recommendation is to use Rust-Oleum’s Filler Primer as well. This paint will stick very closely to standard auto primer and every little imperfection will show through it. I used standard auto Rust-Oleum primer first and had to strip the paint after because it looked terrible. The Filler Primer provided a nice smooth surface to paint onto and it looked amazing after (as pictured).

Review: I am learning to customize dolls and a certain Doll came out from Monster High that has stilettos. They made him up horrible gray color and alls I could think of is how good they would look great they would look in Chrome silver (by the way I bought Chrome pens from Amazon also that have chromium so they have a true reflective surface). Well anyhow I tried everything the pen wouldn’t go on very smooth if you tried to touch it up it would make it wet again or it would just end up sticky. Then I started looking into primers I bought one and it didn’t work because it had paint with it with paint and primer. Then I found this product and I swear to goodness if the Heavens would have opened with a light coming down focusing on this can I wouldn’t have been shocked. This is extremely easy to use and the chrome paint pen goes on smooth and it dries fast and highly reflective. It’s fast too. You do two or three light coats only waiting at least 3 minutes in between and then after the last coat you can start doing your Chrome I think I waited like 30 seconds. This is such a great product I have already bought another can and I’m not even finished with the first one! I think the key words are adhesion promotion for plastic. And it worked for that softer kind of plastic too. I am just over the moon over this product it could not be better.
