Review: I am thoroughly impressed with this little powerhouse! I needed something to charge up the battery on my generator and this worked flawlessly.This is a high quality charger with easy mode switching and super simple to use. I was worried that I did not get one with enough amperage, but this charged up my generator battery enough to power it on after about an hour.I have not yet needed to hook it up to a larger battery such as a car, but for a generator battery or something similar, this charger easily handles the task and isn’t overly expensive for what you’re getting.

Review: Works well to charge flooded, AGM and lithium batteries. Topped off my AGM battery. Highly recommend buying the NoCo GC003 cigarette lighter adapter. Just make sure you connect to a 12v socket that is always on. Strangely does not ship with instructions or manual. Had to look it up online. Same day shipping from Amazon- canât be beat.

Title: Did not work at first, seems to work now?
Review: I have a car I keep garaged and don’t drive very often. The battery is older than the nominal 3 years. However, when I’m driving it around regularly, the battery holds a charge just fine. But when the car sits awhile I have to jump start. I got this product to tend the battery and keep it ready to go.When I first hooked up to the battery and put it into the proper mode, it appeared to be doing the right thing. Note, the battery had significant charge but couldn’t keep cranking the engine long enough to get it started. Despite this, the charger seemed to think the battery was completely discharged. I noticed as hours went by that the charge level indicated by the charger did not change or increase. The next morning it was indicating that the battery was defective. I jumped the car with another device and drove it for a few days, and the battery was fine restarting the car. Definitely not a completely defective battery.I tried this charger again after I was done with the car for awhile. It started out exactly as before, reporting the battery as discharged even though it was starting the engine fine. Oddly enough, this time the charger did what it was supposed to do. The reported charge increased until it was reported fully charged. When I tried starting the car a few days later it started up just fine.Note, I originally tried to get the charger into Force mode, but it would not enter that mode.At this point the charger seems to be working, but I don’t trust it completely. I definitely don’t trust it to be my only alternative to top off a partially discharged battery. Luckily I have two other alternatives.

Review: Updated review from 3 stars to 5 stars. I experimented and connected the terminals to the inverter terminals and it now goes into maintenance mode. Something about being connected to a single battery in the strings causes it to give an error code and shut off. It does not do that when it is connected at the furthest terminal from my battery string, which is the inverter terminals. It works great now. I was so happy I bought the 10 amp version and loaded up the inverter with more devices to test it out. It works great. So now, even when my power goes out, I’ll still have my wifi dish, security cams active.I purchased this charger/maintainer to leave connected to (2) 35AH AGM batteries (parallel) and it works great as a charger. I have an inverter connected to these batteries and I wanted to run my security cams and Wi-Fi off batteries while being maintained by this unit in case of power failure. Didnât work out as planned. It will charge the batteries, but every time they reach the cycle to full charge, the next day I get battery failure and the unit quits charging. Once I unplug the charger from AC and plug it back in, the unit again charges the batteries to full charge, next day battery failure light. The batteries are only a year old and have little use on them. They hold a charge well. So now I have another battery charger. Itâs a nice little trickle charger, but not a maintainer on my batteries.

Review: Hay mucho que considerar al cargar una baterÃa de auto, éste cargador es ideal para varios escenarios. Lo compré pues muchos autos nuevos con baterÃas AGM no deben ser cargados con un cargador que no diga expresamente ser para AGM, de otra forma puede acortar su vida.Este cargador puede usarse con baterÃas regulares de plomo-acido, AGM, litio y hasta de 6V. Tiene indicadores para polaridad invertida, baterÃa dañada, además de nivel de carga en 4 niveles. En ésta versión de 2 amperes (Noco Genius 2) una baterÃa que marque el primer nivel puede tomar mas de un dÃa en cargar, pero lo hará extendiendo lo mas posible la vida de la misma.Para autos que no se utilizan mucho, es indispensable un cargador como éste, de lo contrario la baterÃa se puede dañar por la falta de carga, asà se arranque el motor cada mes, pues no es suficiente, particularmente para las de plomo-acido. Incluso autos que solo se usan para trayectos cortos dos o tres veces por semana, la carga que obtienen no es suficiente y terminan descargandose y dañandose si no se hace algo al respecto.Por el tipo de carga que generan éstos cargadores, se pueden recuperar hasta cierto punto baterÃas que ya fueron indebidamente descargadas mas allá de lo recomendado. Las AGM son las que pueden resistir mas, una de plomo tal vez no se recupere al 100% pero se puede extender un poco su vida. El hecho de que cargue lentamente es precisamente para extender la vida de las baterÃas y mantener cargadas las que no se usan. Si requieres un arrancador o una carga rápida, ésto no es el producto que necesitas. Las cargas rápidas terminan disminuyendo la vida útil de cualquier baterÃa.Es un producto excelente para museos y colecciones de autos, garantizando que autos sin mucho uso estén siempre listos y que las baterÃas no pierdan su vida útil. Se puede comprar el accesorio para conectar permanentemente a la baterÃa y dejar el conector tapado pero accesible para rotar el mismo cargador entre varios autos, dejandolo un par de dÃas en cada auto.Yo lo compré para un auto que casi no uso y como tiene baterÃa AGM, no podÃa usar mi cargador/mantenedor viejo. Lo recomiendo bastante, luego de una carga se puede desconectar y permanecer meses sin usar y arranca a la primera, aunque lo ideal es dejarlo siempre conectado si es posible. Cuando ya está cargada, se mantiene en modo de espera.
