Title: Confusing sizes
Review: If you find the clips are too small for your Subaru, try using the ones with the Phillips head. I had to use those in place of clips that had no pattern.

Review: My local Subaru dealership quoted me 8 and 6 dollars each for the fasteners I needed after a few broke and others were missing altogether when I replaced the low beams on my 2013 Outback. I laughed and told them I would try my luck elsewhere first. I found this item and figured I would give it a try. They are not an exact match but they work perfectly so don’t sweat it. Plus one of my beams was dimmer than the other. Went back to Advance Auto Zone and they gave me replacement. In swapping it out I broke two more of the fasteners but with a 120 of them, it’s not like it matters so it’s definitely worth buying them and just keeping it in the trunk near the spare tire.

Title: I wish I would have bought these sooner
Review: I have a 2005 STI, 2012 WRX wagon (and had a 2008 WRX wagon). A lot of times I change my own oil and do minor work on my cars myself. I think most people that work on their own Subaru’s know these clips. I’ve always tried to reuse them but inevitably they eventually break – even the ones that fasten down things I generally don’t remove. Over the weekend I notice my 2012 was missing 6 of these fasteners on the plastic frame work that guides air into the top mounted intercooler. I called the dealer, they had exactly 6 in stock. So I went and bought them, and picked up 4 of the longer fasteners that hold the plastic piece over the oil pan. After tax, about $35 poorer with 10 fasteners in hand I returned home. Later I checked on Amazon and found these kits. Like the title suggests, wish I would have known about these sooner. It’s a no brainer – I get 40 of the 3 different sized fasteners plus a tool to use to help remove them, for less than what I paid for 10 random clips from the dealer. I bought 2 sets and put one in each Subaru and should be set for life on these clips now, and can give some to the rest of my family if they need some. I played around with these a bit before installing. Seller says these are more durable than the stock ones. I can’t really tell. They seem pretty similar to me, but even if they are not as durable the price offsets me having to swap them out more often as needed.

Title: Not quite the same as Subaruâ¦
Review: These clips are fine quality wise, buy I would say they fall short of matching OEM clips. At least for the 8mm, it has a âPhillipsâ style head, which the OEM does not. It also does not have the two cutouts along the rim that the OEM does, to allow for easier removal.
