Title: Worked great for my solvent based alkyd paint job.
Review: Considering the price and that includes a touch up gun too, this is a real bargain. The larger gun worked great for applying alkyd primer and finish coat on some structural steel for a deck cover. I would say it’s about 10 times faster than a brush and it left a great finish with the slower drying top coat I was using. I had to replace an o-ring or two that was squashed and torn from the factory. As others have mentioned, some pipe tape was needed on the paint cup threads to prevent leaking. I think I used about 10 wraps of Teflon pipe tape to make sure it sealed well. I ran my regulator at the air compressor around 75 PSI and while pressing air only on the paint gun I ran about 23 psi on the guns regulator.

Title: Get what you pay for
Review: (painting a fence)The larger sprayer had a dent near the air inlet upon arrival which leaks air. I have a large air compressor and had to keep it running the whole time to maintain enough PSI to spray the paint.The smaller sprayer was in decent shape and works fine thus far.As other reviews have mentioned, there are no instructions for the knobs on the sprayer so you’ll need to do some trial and error to figure out their uses.I’ll probably need to buy a new spray gun in a year or so but this does the trick for now

Title: Don’t expect much, but they’ll do for now
Review: I just received this set and wanted to give my initial observations. The guns themselves are functional but pretty ugly. the blue finish is uneven and patchy, and right out of the box they had bits of finish scraped off.I hooked them up to my compressor and did a couple of test sprays. There are a couple of dials. One looks like an adjustment for the fluid volume? It was kind of hard to tell, because there’s also a dial that adjusts how far back the trigger goes, and that also changes the fluid volume. There’s also another knob on the handle, and I’m not at all sure what that one does. I’m new to air compressor spray guns (excluding the all-in-one style HVLP guns that don’t use a separate compressor) and the instructions were completely useless. They had an exploded parts diagram that was so small I had to take pictures and zoom in, but nowhere on the one-page pamphlet was a set of instructions explaining what does what, or how to properly use the guns.The included tools are pretty awful. A cheap toothbrush type thing, another cylindrical brush, some plastic bits that I don’t know what they are, and two “wrenches” that are the most awful things I’ve ever had the misfortune to destroy my hands with. After doing a test spray with the larger gun using some poly finish (which worked admirably by the way), I tried to disassemble the gun to clean, but the fluid nozzle would not budge. It actually ruined the wrench that’s supposed to loosen it, it was on so tight.I disassembled the smaller one (using my own crescent wrench since neither of the included wrenches had a size that supported the smaller fluid nozzle) and verified that I was turning in the correct direction, and I was, but that larger nozzle is on there seemingly forever. And now with the one wrench damaged beyond repair, I may never knock that thing loose (the larger one uses a weird design that requires a specialized shape). So I guess I get to use the larger gun until something gets clogged up in there, and probably destroy it trying to open it up.As long as the spray pattern is thin, it will go evenly, but you’ll definitely want to test a lot first because it’s very easy to spray too heavily.

Title: Sprays fairly nice works good
Review: I used a remote air regulator and added a inline small air filter before the gun I was spraying enamel on automotive Surface after a little adjustments the larger of the two guns worked almost as good as my old siphon feed Binks spray gun. This first time used a gravity gun with the disposable plastic cup are nice for cleaning better then the old system. I see there are much more costly guns but wonder if would get bang for the money

Title: No problem – great coverage
Review: I was hesitant to buy these based on the bad reviews out there. They were few, but I worried anyway. I only needed 2 cans but got the 3 pack so I’d have an extra if one of them didn’t work.Happy to report – ZERO problems with 2 out of the 3 cans. As I said, I didn’t need the 3rd at this time so it’s on the shelf. Don’t see any reason to think it will be any different than the other two.The button you press on the bottom didn’t break and leak like some negative reviews. The spray pattern was a pretty good fan (unlike other negative reviews saying it was too small of a spot). And the coverage was great.I’m not a professional painter. I’ve never used this style paint before and even I got a beautiful finish first try.I would recommend for novices and experts alike.

Review: I use this for 3d printing and making my models shine. Much better than any high gloss clear coat I have tried. One thing to remember is that get all your items together before activating the 2 part hardener as it will onky br good for 2 days. It will continue to work for several more days but will eventually lock up and nothing will come out.This is also great for painting and clear coasting small areas of cars and motorcycles

Title: Works great
Review: I used this on a fender that I was replacing on my 04 sebring.. I only put the clear coat on the outside of the fender, where it gets the most wear, and where people see it.. Nothing on the inside of the fender.. I got 3 coats on the fender, and it took a full can.. Take this into consideration when thinking about how much of the clear coat that you will need for your project..As you can see by the pictures, the rain is beading up very well on the fender, but it is not beading up on the door, which was original.. I did not buff it out, or put any kind of wax on either surface..Overall, it went on pretty close to flawlessly.. So nice, that I did not feel the need to buff it out at all.. My only complaint with this stuff is the fact that once you start using it, you have an 8 hour work time.. It is not like a can of paint where you can use some now, and the rest later.. It is a 1 time use deal with this.. But so far, I am very happy with the results..

Title: BE AWARE: Professional use only!
Review: This review isn’t about the performance of the product, I didn’t even get it in time to be able to use it, but rather the lack of a full disclosure of the precautions you’ll need to take when using it.I looked again and nowhere in the product information does it disclose that a RESPIRATOR is REQUIRED, but when I got the product and read the enclosed instructions, it is written there in bold. Also on the cap is a label stating “Professional use only. This 2K product contains Isocyanates. Protective mask must be worn when spraying from aerosol can.” I am not a professional and these aren’t things I have on hand or something I want to invest in to finish a simple small project for a birthday present. I also didn’t get the product in the time in which Amazon said it would arrive, so I didn’t have time to gather said required equipment to be able use it anyway. If you’re going to be selling this on Amazon to the average person spray painting in their driveway, then you might want to give them a heads up that they will need gear they probably don’t have on hand to get the job done without risks to their health. Maybe state “Professional use only” somewhere in your product description as well. Since the product is non-returnable I’m out $30 because I’ve decided not to use it.

Title: Only good for the first spray
Review: Don’t buy this gun! The main chamber of the gun gets gunked up with paint, and the chamber is hard to clean and it is hard to see where the paint gunk is (or to see whether the chamber is clean).Also, the trigger gets stuck, and it is hard to determine what to clean in order to get the trigger un-stuck. With the trigger being stuck, one has to manually get the trigger un-stuck with the non-painting hand.I missed the deadline for returning this gun 🤬

Review: First time using a spray gun. Took a few minutes to get everything set right but after I did it laid out nice.It did loose fluid a cpl times and bent one of the needles but that was operator error.I appreciated the accessories although the filters are useless.I would purchase again and actually plan on it for clear coats.

Title: Awesome precision once you figure out all the gadgets
Review: Purchase has A lot of parts that go along with it. As long as you follow the instructions. You should be fine. Definitely recommend practicing with it before starting on your main project. Coverage is smooth and precise. Minimal leakage. Had some leakage in the beginning, but that was a user error and not a mechanical one. Slightly difficult to change out pieces, but overall worth it in the end seems to detach and broken down easily. Cleaning actually the easiest of all of my spray guns. will buy again when this one stops working.

Review: Just replaced my hood from a deer hit and my previous hood was horribly rock chipped- I have used this material before on another car with great results so I installed the protection film on the new hood- so far no rock chips- this is the best thing you can do to protect the leading edge of any painted surface from gravel/small rock damage. its invisible, you can barely see the edge and past vehicles, it has never faded or turned yellow.

Review: I have metal clad patio doors and a smart young poodle that has learned we open the door using paddle style knobs.Now he tries to work the paddles to come inside despite the fact he has his own “doggie door” two paces away.The result is accumulating shallow, unsightly scratch marks in the metal on the door below the paddles. I wanted something that would protect the metal cladding. A quick search online turned up this product and the videos demonstrating it’s use convinced me to try it.It worked perfectly. I also learned that, at least in this application, it is slightly self healing. In other words, slight blemishes such as tiny bubbles or small wrinkles tend to work themselves out.Another upside is the covered surface actually looks better than the original. The biggest disappointment with this product is I don’t have another place to use it.

Review: To properly apply this product to a vehicle you will need to create/apply a slip solution and a tack solution. These two items will ensure a higher success rate of proper application. Look up slip solution on YouTube and there will be video explaining what it is a how to make it.

Title: This stuff is HARD to put on cleanly without fingerprints and bubbles – but sturdy and functional.
Review: This stuff is HARD to put on cleanly without fingerprints and bubbles. I consider myself handy and meticulous, but I failed at the task of applying this to my curved back bumper horizontal surface. I was protecting new paint and new car from big dog claws jumping in and out of my SUV. The product is thick enough and has some stretch to it. but I was unsuccessful at laying it down dead smooth, and my re-tries created finger prints on the sticky side. It does the job, but if you are not going on a dead flat surface, and can spend a couple hundred dollars, you might be better going to a shop that applies clear bras on cars. Don’t get me wrong, this is not 3Ms fault, I just over-reached the task and my expectations. The resulting product will do the job, and looks fine 10 feet away. Just an FYI.

Review: This is a must have for your red bottom shoes! It is an easy to work with a durable material. I was surprised at how well it works and how easy to use it is. You cannot wear these shoes without this applied. This product also give the shoe some grip so you do not slip on smooth surfaces. Cheap, easy to apply, and durable. Title: Use Use Slip/Tack Solution
Review: I used this product to cover inner sill surface on my car to help reduce scuffs to the car vinyl caused by getting in and out of the vehicle. It can be cleanly removed when necessary.The product shipped in a tight roll specific to what I’d ordered (6″x60″). I hung the roll vertically indoors for a couple days with improvised weight at the bottom.The product will tend to curl and stick to itself when the liner is removed so make sure you mist tack solution on sticky side before t has a chance to do so. Mist tack solution to substrate before peeling liner. then mist some on sticky surface. Once applied to substrate, use slip solution on gloss surface of vinyl film and glide flat, smooth-edged bonding tool to remove liquid and bubbles.Slip/tack solution recipes and application techniques are all over YouTube.

Product Description

Mixing LiME LiNE Bascoats

Basecoat

Pour out the amount of basecoat needed to complete your project. Keep in mind the reducer will double what’s in your paint cup.

Note: If you’re not using the LiME LiNE disposable paint liners with the filter in the lid (as shown) you will want to use a cone style paper filter to strain the paint.

Reducer

You will need to reduce your basecoat to make it spray smooth through your paint gun or airbrush.

Mix in reducer 1:1 (50/50)

Note: This is not a hard rule add more reducer for smaller tip spray guns or airbrushes.

Mix

Mix thoroughly using a reusable stir stick.

Spray

Spray 3 coats or until full hide is achieved.

Allow 5-10 minutes between coatsAllow 10-30 minutes before clearcoat

Application on bare metal (Step 1)

Clean bare metal with wax and grease removerTape and mask to prevent overspray Prime (2-3 coats)Allow primer to dry

Sand Primer with 600-800 grit sandpaperPrimer needs to be sanded in order for the basecoat to adhere properlyClean with glass cleaner

Approximately 50% coverage Allow to dry (flash off)

2nd coat

3-4 coats of clearcoatAllow to dry overnight

Application on Factory Paint (Step 1)

Do not paint on aftermarket paint, spray paint, paint with corrosion or adhesion problems

Clean and degrease with wax and grease removerInspect paint surface for imperfections

Application on Factory Paint (Step 2)

Surface needs to be sanded in order for the basecoat to adhere properly!

Review: The lime lime black basecoat is awesome. It sprayed super easy in my LVLP spray gun. It covers very well. Mixing ratio is 1:1 with reducer. Get a good reducer and good clear coat.
