Local authorities and U.S. military personnel responded. The cause of the crash is under investigation. No further details were immediately provided.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The aircraft was based out of Training Air Wing One in Meridian, Mississippi. <\/p>\n<p>According to the NATC, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.navair.navy.mil\/product\/T-45-Goshawk-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the T-45C Goshawk<\/a> is a tandem seat aircraft designed to train Navy and Marine Corps pilots. <\/p>\n<p>Manufactured by McDonnell Douglas at a cost of about $17 million per plane, the T-45C Goshawk went into operation in 1997, according to the NATC. <\/p>\n<p>McDonnell Douglas was acquired by Boeing in the late 1990s.\u00a0<\/p>\n<section class=\"content__body--footer\">\n<\/section>\n<p>  <!-- data-recirc-source=\"queryly\" --><\/p>\n<aside class=\"component list recirculation
