GameStop became a so-called &#8220;<span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/amc-blackberry-gamestop-meme-stocks-roaring-kitty-wallstreetbets\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">meme stock<\/a><\/span>&#8221; in 2021 after retail investors, mobilized<a href=\"\" target=\"_blank\"> on Reddit<\/a>, started buying its shares, driving it up by
