It will consist of three events: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olympics.com\/en\/milano-cortina-2026\/schedule\/smt\/w\/sprint------------\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Women&#8217;s Sprint<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olympics.com\/en\/milano-cortina-2026\/schedule\/smt\/m\/sprint------------\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Men&#8217;s Sprint<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olympics.com\/en\/milano-cortina-2026\/results\/smt\/x\/relay-------------\/event-overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Mixed Relay<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The race begins with a rigorous climb up a mountain on skis fitted with a special fabric skin that grips the snow as the athletes sprint uphill.
