from their websites, taking down anything that could not be easily rewritten.<\/p>\n<p>That prompted a lawsuit by the nonprofit Doctors for America, which secured a <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/judge-orders-hhs-cdc-fda-restore-deleted-webpages-health-information\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">federal court ruling<\/a><\/span> to temporarily restore the list of webpages that the group had cited in their filings by the end of the day on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>However, access to federal health resources on several topics not specifically mentioned by the group has not been restored, like the CDC&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/mpox\/vaccines\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">recommendations<\/a> on who should be vaccinated for <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/feature\/monkeypox-outbreak-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">mpox<\/a><\/span> during the ongoing outbreak, which remains offline.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"embed embed--type-image is-image embed--float-none embed--size-medium\"><span class=\"img embed__content\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" alt=\"cdc-mpox.jpg \" height=\"334\" width=\"620\" class=\" lazyload\" srcset=\"https:\/\/assets3.cbsnewsstatic.com\/hub\/i\/r\/2025\/02\/13\/a39fbd80-8318-495c-ac49-ee93903235e5\/thumbnail\/620x334\/4b630eaebbac4f7d4a458fa418796aaf\/cdc-mpox.jpg?v=905524240eba4a810b7648f150c98fe0 1x, https:\/\/assets1.cbsnewsstatic.com\/hub\/i\/r\/2025\/02\/13\/a39fbd80-8318-495c-ac49-ee93903235e5\/thumbnail\/1240x668\/692ee2f9c019cd1257483137b4f0e55f\/cdc-mpox.jpg?v=905524240eba4a810b7648f150c98fe0 2x\"\/><\/span><figcaption class=\"embed__caption-container\"><span class=\"embed__caption\">Some CDC webpages, including recommendations for mpox vaccinations, were taken offline.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>                  <span class=\"embed__credit\"><\/p>\n<p>                Centers for Disease Control and Prevention<\/p>\n<p>                          <\/span><br \/>\n              <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The ruling this week by Judge John Bates said federal agencies have until Friday to restore access to any other resources that members of the doctors group say they &#8220;rely on to provide care&#8221; that were removed without notice.<\/p>\n<p>Some datasets the group&#8217;s members said they needed, like a CDC <a href=\"https:\/\/yrbs-explorer.services.cdc.gov\/#\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">survey<\/a> of <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/teen-girls-suicide-depression-mental-health-cdc-survey\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">mental health<\/a><\/span> and chronic disease in high school students, were accessible again by Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>But an <a href=\"https:\/\/nccd.cdc.gov\/BRFSSPrevalence\/rdProcess.aspx?rdProcess=Redirect&amp;rdTaskID=RedirectEBL&amp;islLocation=99&amp;go=GO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">online tool<\/a> to navigate results from a similar dataset overseen by the agency about adults, the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, was still offline.<\/p>\n<p>Researchers rely on that survey&#8217;s results to compare a number of health trends across different states and communities, including rates of cancer screening, <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/obesity-rate-us-adults-cdc-data-map\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">obesity rates<\/a><\/span> and women&#8217;s health issues.<\/p>\n<p>Webpages mentioning &#8220;gender&#8221; on other health agency websites also remain offline. The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion&#8217;s &#8220;Healthy People 2030&#8221; database of goals tracked by federal health authorities also remains partially offline.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pages about data on transgender people, like goals to reduce <a href=\"https:\/\/odphp.health.gov\/healthypeople\/objectives-and-data\/browse-objectives\/lgbt\/reduce-bullying-transgender-students-lgbt-d01\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">bullying of transgender students<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/odphp.health.gov\/healthypeople\/objectives-and-data\/browse-objectives\/lgbt\/increase-number-national-surveys-collect-data-transgender-populations-lgbt-02\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">increase the national surveys<\/a> that include data on transgender people, remain inaccessible.<\/p>\n<p>The FDA&#8217;s posts on how it was <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/fda-eases-blood-donation-policy-regarding-gay-and-bisexual-men\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">easing restrictions<\/a><\/span> for gay men to donate blood also remain offline, after they were taken down last month.
