It&#8217;s unclear how many people were aboard Japan Airlines Flight 68, but airport officials said no injuries were reported on either flight. were near the concourse, they were not in an area that is under air traffic control, according to the Federal Aviation Administration, which is investigating the incident.<\/p>\n<p>The FAA temporarily paused some flights, but Sea-Tac Airport said there was minimal impact.<\/p>\n<p>Amid rising concerns about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/closecalls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">aviation safety<\/a> in recent years, the agency said it has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/bil\/airport-infrastructure\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">made nearly $12 billion<\/a> in grant funding available to airports across the country  from the <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/infrastructure-bill-2021-implementation\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">2021 bipartisan infrastructure law<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>More than $178 million has been allocated to Sea-Tac Airport, according to the
