The judge said he&#8217;d reserve judgment on the motion.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>&#8220;You&#8217;re doing an excellent job,&#8221; Combs says<\/h2>\n<p>The judge then turned to Combs, and asked him how we was doing. Combs replied he was doing great, and asked the judge how he was.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You&#8217;re doing an excellent job,&#8221; Combs told the judge.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The judge asked Combs if he&#8217;d taken drugs recently, and if his mind was clear. Combs said he hadn&#8217;t taken drugs recently, and his mind was indeed clear.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The judge then asked Combs whether he would testify, saying he has the right to. Combs said he wouldn&#8217;t.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That is my decision, your honor,&#8221; Combs said. &#8220;That is solely my decision.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Monday, a federal agent with Homeland Security Investigations testified about evidence charts prepared by the prosecution.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Combs, 55, has\u00a0<span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/sean-diddy-combs-arraignment\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">pleaded not guilty<\/a><\/span>\u00a0to five counts and faces up to life in prison if he&#8217;s convicted.<\/p>\n<p>At issue is whether or not Combs coerced women into sexual encounters with male sex workers. A main component of the racketeering charge is the allegation that he used employees to facilitate illegal activities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors say those sexual encounters with his girlfriends and sex workers, whether they were <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/cassie-ventura-sean-diddy-combs-sex-trafficking-trial\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">dubbed &#8220;freak offs&#8221;<\/a><\/span> or <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/sean-diddy-combs-jane-cross-examination\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">&#8220;hotel nights,&#8221;<\/a><\/span> amount to proof of sex trafficking and racketeering. Combs&#8217; defense maintains all of the sexual encounters were consensual and part of a swingers lifestyle.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The trial is in its seventh week. It has featured <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/sean-diddy-combs-trial-cassie-ventura-rape-accusation\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">graphic testimony from Combs&#8217; former girlfriend Casandra &#8220;Cassie&#8221; Ventura<\/a><\/span>, who discussed &#8220;freak offs&#8221; in graphic detail, as well as <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/disturbing-video-appears-to-show-sean-diddy-combs-assaulting-cassie-ventura\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">the infamous incident in which Combs was caught on video assaulting her<\/a><\/span> at a hotel. Ventura was just one of <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/sean-diddy-combs-jane-cross-examination\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">Combs&#8217; former girlfriends<\/a><\/span> and <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/sean-diddy-combs-sex-trafficking-trial-personal-assistant-testifies\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">employees<\/a><\/span> who have testified as part of the trial.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/sean-diddy-combs-trial-juror-dismissed\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">A juror was dismissed<\/a><\/span> as the prosecution neared the end of its case over questions about where that juror actually lived.
