{"id":30263,"date":"2025-06-05T19:09:53","date_gmt":"2025-06-05T19:09:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/site.itshrt.com\/worldnews\/judge-threatens-to-exclude-sean-diddy-combs-from-courtroom-over-jury-interactions\/"},"modified":"2025-06-05T19:09:53","modified_gmt":"2025-06-05T19:09:53","slug":"judge-threatens-to-exclude-sean-diddy-combs-from-courtroom-over-jury-interactions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.itshrt.com\/worldnews\/judge-threatens-to-exclude-sean-diddy-combs-from-courtroom-over-jury-interactions\/","title":{"rendered":"Judge threatens to exclude Sean &#8220;Diddy&#8221; Combs from courtroom over jury interactions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-6606220950177433\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- ItShrt World News -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6606220950177433\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"1882483372\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\r\n<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"\">\n<p>The judge in <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/sean-diddy-combs-trial-100000-dollar-payment-for-assault-video-cassie-ventura\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">the Sean &#8220;Diddy&#8221; Combs trial<\/a><\/span> threatened Thursday to potentially have Combs removed from court.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Judge Arun Subramanian scolded defense attorney Marc Agnifilo for expressions the judge said Combs made to the jury, including looking at them and &#8220;nodding vigorously&#8221; during the testimony of graphic designer Bryana &#8220;Bana&#8221; Bongolan, a friend of <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/cassie-ventura-sean-diddy-combs-sex-trafficking-trial\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">Cassie Ventura&#8217;s<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Subramanian told Agnifilo that can&#8217;t happen again, and that if it does, he&#8217;ll consider giving a &#8220;curative instruction,&#8221; which could include excluding Combs from the courtroom.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Agnifilo told the judge he understood.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There should be no efforts whatsoever to have an interaction with this jury,&#8221; the judge said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The discussion between the judge and Agnifilo happened while jurors were out of the courtroom, at lunch.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bongolan had been under questioning about an incident in which <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/sean-diddy-combs-arraignment\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">she alleges Combs dangled her over the balcony<\/a><\/span> of a Los Angeles apartment building in 2016. She testified the incident left her traumatized and she would wake up screaming.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Combs&#8217; defense attorneys said Bongolan has a pending lawsuit against Combs which seeks millions of dollars. They questioned her about the time and date stamp of a photo which was allegedly taken on the date of the incident, saying Combs may have been elsewhere on tour at the time. The defense showed a hotel bill from the same date of the alleged incident, suggesting Combs may have been staying in New York under the alias of Frank Black at the time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bongolan went on to testify that, while she doesn&#8217;t recall the precise date of the incident, she is certain it took place.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Another of Combs&#8217; ex-girlfriends took the stand Thursday afternoon. The woman is testifying under the pseudonym &#8220;Jane&#8221; to protect her identity. She was expected to testify that she dated Combs for three years and she too then went on to participate in &#8220;freak offs.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Combs, 55, has <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/sean-diddy-combs-arraignment\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">pleaded not guilty to five charges<\/a><\/span>, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
