Bjornevik, the managing director of BOA Offshore told AFP, adding that the operation only lasted 30 minutes and an inspection is underway<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This went better than expected,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrk.no\/trondelag\/det-grunnstotte-konteinerskipet-skal-slepes-fra-fjaera-pa-byneset-tirsdag-1.17433308\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">he told NRK<\/a>. &#8220;This went beyond all expectations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Ukrainian seaman has said none of the cargo ship&#8217;s collision alarms had worked, prosecutor Kjetil Bruland Sorensen told news agency NTB.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation will also look into whether the rules on working hours and rest periods were adhered to on ship, according to police.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"embed embed--type-image him on the phone.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The doorbell rang at a time of day when I don&#8217;t like to open,&#8221; Helberg\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tv2.no\/nyheter\/containerskip-pa-grunn-utenfor-trondheim\/17757497\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">told television channel TV2<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The ship reportedly caused damage to a heating pipe in Helberg&#8217;s cabin, TV2 reported, but the homeowner said he considered himself lucky.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If the ship had hit the rocky cliff right next to it, it would have lifted up and hit the house hard,&#8221;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tv2.no\/nyheter\/containerskip-pa-grunn-utenfor-trondheim\/17757497\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">he told TV2<\/a>. &#8220;It wasn&#8217;t many meters off.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>None of the 16 crew members were injured.<\/p>\n<p>Bente Hetland, the CEO of the shipping company that owns NCL Salten, told TV2 that the same ship ran aground twice before \u2014 once in 2023 in Hadsel and again in 2024, in \u00c5lesund.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"embed embed--type-image is-image embed--float-none
