It was not immediately clear how many flights would be affected.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Dozens of firefighters were trying to put out the blaze at the substation in Hayes, in western London, <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.london-fire.gov.uk\/incidents\/2025\/march\/fire-at-electrical-substation-hayes\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">the London Fire Brigade said<\/a> in a statement. A large number of businesses and homes had lost power, it said, without providing a number.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Around 150 people were evacuated from the area around the substation, Pat Goulbourne, assistant commissioner at the fire brigade, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<aside class=\"css-ew4tgv\" aria-label=\"companion column\"\/><\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"companionColumn-1\">\n<div class=\"css-53u6y8\">\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Fire crews will be on scene throughout the night, Mr. Goulbourne said, adding, \u201cAs we head into
