Despite &#8220;advanced cardiac life support measures,&#8221; she was <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/hayden-panettiere-death-celebrity-tributes-reactions\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">pronounced dead<\/a><\/span> there, the Greenville County Coroner&#8217;s Office said.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Panettiere&#8217;s on-again, off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother Zach were at the scene of her death, according to a <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/hayden-panettiere-death-police-report-brian-hickerson\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">police report obtained by CBS News<\/a><\/span>. The Hickersons made the 911 call that brought first responders to the apartment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Authorities, including the Drug Enforcement Administration, were investigating the circumstances of Panettiere&#8217;s death.
