{"id":101965,"date":"2026-10-01T19:23:54","date_gmt":"2026-10-01T19:23:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/site.itshrt.com\/worldnews\/alleged-cornell-gang-rape-victim-said-i-had-so-much-ketamine-my-eyes-were-crossed-and-you-still-had-sex-with-me-title-ix-investigation-transcripts-show\/"},"modified":"2026-10-01T19:23:54","modified_gmt":"2026-10-01T19:23:54","slug":"alleged-cornell-gang-rape-victim-said-i-had-so-much-ketamine-my-eyes-were-crossed-and-you-still-had-sex-with-me-title-ix-investigation-transcripts-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.itshrt.com\/worldnews\/alleged-cornell-gang-rape-victim-said-i-had-so-much-ketamine-my-eyes-were-crossed-and-you-still-had-sex-with-me-title-ix-investigation-transcripts-show\/","title":{"rendered":"Alleged Cornell gang rape victim said &#8220;I had so much ketamine, my eyes were crossed, and you still had sex with me,&#8221; Title IX investigation transcripts show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-6606220950177433\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- ItShrt World News -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6606220950177433\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"1882483372\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\r\n<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"\">\n<p>CBS News New York has been combing through records that take us inside Cornell University&#8217;s Title IX investigation into an <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/cornell-university-lawsuit-fraternity-rape-allegations\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">alleged gang rape at a fraternity<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The records offer a closer look at how <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/cornell-university-rape-case-jane-doe-police-interview-transcript\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">Jane Doe described what she says happened to her that night<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and in the days that followed, as well as how people around her remembered it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The records include interviews with Doe, six of the seven men named in Doe&#8217;s bombshell civil lawsuit, and 20 witnesses.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Some of the information in the records is graphic and disturbing.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One roommate recalls Doe saying &#8220;Oh my goodness, isn&#8217;t that crazy?&#8221; the morning <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/cornell-university-rape-allegation-chi-phi-snapchat-conversation\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">after the alleged incident<\/a><\/span> at Cornell&#8217;s Chi Phi house in October 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The roommate said Doe was laughing as she recounted it, but seemed to be in shock. The roommate said Doe did not call it rape or assault that next morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A second roommate said Jane Doe did tell her &#8220;I wasn&#8217;t comfortable.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>About a week later, that second roommate said she heard Doe tell one of the men &#8220;You had penetrative sex with me. I had so much ketamine, my eyes were crossed, and you still had sex with me.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Those accounts are in transcripts of Cornell&#8217;s Title IX investigation, distributed to the parties in January 2025. CBS News New York obtained them from a source. The documents are <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/cornell-university-rape-allegation-chi-phi-snapchat-conversation\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">part of the record<\/a><\/span> but do not include the Title IX panel&#8217;s hearing minutes, reasoning or final findings.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In her Title IX interview in November, Doe said she didn&#8217;t show &#8220;excitement and enthusiasm, which is kinda the basis of consent.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She said she told the men she was tired and didn&#8217;t want to continue, and that she was sometimes encouraged to take more substances.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Doe could not pinpoint when she lost the ability to make decisions. She said she whispered to one man that she was uncomfortable.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The men, now accused of rape and assault, gave their accounts, too.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One said he asked Jane Doe if he could take ketamine from her body. He said she agreed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Another, Scott Kretzschmar, said he was in the room for &#8220;tops, five minutes,&#8221; did not see her naked, and did not do drugs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Kretzschmar told a Title IX investigator he asked Doe if she was OK. He said her response was &#8220;I&#8217;m good&#8221; and that &#8220;she didn&#8217;t seem inebriated at all.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit names seven men and makes different allegations against them. Four are specifically accused of rape. The allegation against Kretzschmar is that he snorted ketamine from Doe&#8217;s body, something his attorney Jeremy Saland denies.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The process that Cornell had was absolutely biased in my personal experience &#8230; biased in favor of her, not these young boys,&#8221; Saland said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cornell said its Title IX process lasted months, included a hearing before a panel of trained faculty and staff, and resulted in sanctions, including expulsions and suspensions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The allegations of a gang rape <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/cornell-university-rape-allegations-chi-phi-fraternity-details\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">sparked outrage<\/a><\/span> and questions about <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/cornell-university-alleged-gang-rape-independent-investigation\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">how Cornell University and its police handled the case<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The district attorney initially declined to bring charges, but has now <span class=\"link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/alleged-cornell-university-fraternity-rape-case-will-be-reopened\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">reopened the investigation<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CBS News New York&#8217;s investigative unit is continuing to work its way through the record.\u00a0<\/p>\n<section
