But the waffle pattern of this men&#8217;s robe is more like slightly raised small squares embossed throughout the lightweight fabric that is not suffocating or thermic.  This robe breathes, and is good for all day comfort here in air conditioned Florida.  Up north, you might consider this a &#8216;summer robe.&#8217;I wear XL for shirts, but usually go up a size when I buy online.  I&#8217;ve purchased this robe twice using XL-XXL.  It fits perfectly just below the shoulders.  Arm length is right at the wrist cuffs.  Length is at the shins with plenty of room to tie off waist.  Quality stitching with white piping in lapel, pockets and wrist.  Holds up well during machine wash\/dry, keeps shape.
