Title: Great fit
Review: These are great, cheap tshirts for anyone that needs the basics. They don’t feel cheap at all, and are great if you just need a lot of shirts for not a lot of money. I got a pack for myself (a woman) and a pack for my husband. They fit both of us perfectly. They’re nice and loose and very comfortable. They’re thin enough to keep you cool and my husband likes how they land below his hips. Overall I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Title: good value, a bit thin
Review: Thin, inexpensive, but well-cut men’s undershirts. They don’t have the technical fabric or closer fit of the Under Armour or Calvin Klein.. But the price is much lower per shirt, and the insubstantial, non-clingy fabric is light enough to forget you’re wearing that layer.I was looking for new, basic black shirts after my usual suppliers had grown unreliable– something that would look good under a button-down shirt or sweater, wouldn’t add bulk, wasn’t super expensive, was long enough to tuck but not too long so I could still wear it out, and wouldn’t look bad if worn by itself. I also tried the Calvin Klein “Men’s Undershirts Cotton Stretch” and the Under Armour “Men’s Cotton Stretch Crew Undershirt”:* This Amazon Essentials is the most “under-shirt” of the bunch. The thin fabric doesn’t hide much. The sleeves are loose rather than fitted, and slightly longer than the other two. The “L” doesn’t cling on the shoulders or back. It feels like a thin version of a normal tee-shirt cut. The sleeves are a bit bulky under another shirt.* The CK is a stretch fabric (which usually wears better over time than plain cotton), but not too fitted. The material is thick enough to wear comfortably as a tee. It has a really nice roll collar (a folded/stitched collar rather than a flat one– rolled ones don’t get messed up as quickly by repeated wash/wear cycles). There’s a white CK tag on the hem that stands out a bit too much if you wear it untucked. The CK is the most expensive of the three.* The UA is the most fitted of the bunch, with the shortest sleeves– it’ll be easiest to wear comfortably under another tight layer. The stretchy material is good quality and like the CK could be worn by itself, although its clinginess requires a reasonably athletic build in that case.I tried size “L” in all cases. All three brands break at the right spot (hip) to be tuckable for most heights. I like the Amazon Essentials the least of the bunch since I don’t like to fiddle to get my under sleeves to sit right, but it’s going to be the most familiar fit for people who regularly wear undershirts. It’s also the cheapest.Like Amazon’s other house brands, Essentials is a good choice for “can’t decide between brands”, providing value without having to spend too much time comparison shopping.This shirt is a little too under-shirty for the “wear by itself” category, but otherwise works well. Recommended if you want a basic, standard-fit undershirt.

Title: Basic t-shirt and good value
Review: I’m writing this to help anyone considering this t-shirt. For years I purchased Hanes undershirts/t-shirts whenever needed. Then, the geniuses (idiots) at Hanes lengthened their shirts to a ridiculous level. Looking for an alternative I tried Amazon essentials. I wear white t-shirts during the hotter months as a primary shirt, not an undershirt. I don’t want them too thick as it’s hot. I don’t want them long either as I don’t wear them tucked in. There are mixed reviews but here’s what I think is important: (1) they shrink as much as any 100% cotton t-shirt, about one size; (2) they are compatible in size and fit to Hanes (before they lengthened and ruined their shirts); (3) they are softer than Hanes and a little thicker but not what I’d call thick; (4) they are a great value at under $4 per shirt; (5) I can not speak to durability since this is a new purchase, but initial quality is very good; (6) the neck seems fine and sturdy enough. I would purchase again.

Review: Había comprado el paquete de 6 playeras blancas hace tiempo y ahora encargué las negras, porque desde un principio me encantaron, están hechas con el algodón más suave que he sentido y eso las hace tan cómodas y frescas, y aún precio accesible, fue una excelente compra, excelente trabajo por Amazon essentials.Una cosa importante si tienes perros o gatos, debes ser más cuidadoso con las playeras negras porque se le notan más los pelos o la pelusa, sobretodo si tú mascota tiene pelitos blancos, aunque que pase eso es totalmente normal, solo quería dar ese detalle para quien tenga mascotas y desé cuidar más la apariencia de la playera.

Review: As per description, these are inner shirts / undershirts. They are not meant to be outer wear but if you really want to, they are even good enough for that. The quality is good enough. I normally purchase name brands like F*Loom but their quality has declined lately. My latest concern was that the neck tend to “bacon” upon initial wash. I bought a similar sized shirt from Walmart at $8 (George) and that wrinkled at the neck as well. So when I found these Amazon Essentials for about $5 each (6 pack), I decided to give them a try. Personally I wear medium. I like how this size fits me not as an undershirt but for wearing casually around the house. I measured the medium at about 29 inches (sleeve end to end), sleeve width at 7 inches. Waist width at around 20″ and total length 27″. Washes it warm and then ran it through a hot tumble dry to see any shrinkage. The collar/neck did NOT bacon. Sleeves and width did not shrink. Total length decrease by about an inch (26″) so I would call that very minimal. This is excellent for this price.The label on the shirt shows it was made in Pakistan from an all cotton material. The label is not sewn in nor is it a tag. It simply looks like an iron-on transfer. What I particularly like is that the label eventually peels off after the first wash. So I would assume that a second or later washing will remove this large tag altogether. Excellent !
