Title: Not Exactly Like Birks
Review: I was really impressed with the quality of these sandals, but they aren’t birk replicas. These have a heel pad instead of a cup. That’s a deal breaker for me since I have flat feet. Raised heel shoes, especially make my knees hurt. I need minimal drop from heel to toe. So these are going back. If you are like most people and can wear shoes with a slight heel, get these! The straps and soles seem to be cleanly attached. No visible glue anywhere. The foot bed feels soft and comfortable. It’s an amazing price for this product.

Title: Literally the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned.
Review: You will not be disappointed when ordering these. They are the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned. I wouldn’t want to get them wet because they are a very unique texture, and I don’t know how well they will stand up to use with water, but with regular use, they are still super comfortable after months. I love these and they look excellent still, which makes a very nice touch to a nice casual outfit. Great pair of sandals, and excellent quality.

Title: Loved Everything About it Except for the Straps
Review: The footbed is incredibly comfortable. Walking in these sandals feels like my feet are in the clouds, and the softness of the footbed is even better than some well-known brands out there. The cork footbed provides excellent support and cushioning, making them perfect for long walks or all-day wear. The fit is also spot-on. Ordering a size 12 was the right choice, as the sandals fit my feet perfectly. The overall design and construction are of great quality, which adds to the durability and longevity of the sandals. However, there is one downside that prevents me from giving a full 5-star rating. The strap on these sandals looks a bit cheap compared to the rest of the sandal’s quality. While it hasn’t affected the functionality or comfort, it does detract slightly from the overall aesthetic.

Title: Comfy Sandals with a Few Quirks
Review: I’ve been wearing these sandals for a few weeks now, and I gotta say, they’re pretty darn comfortable! The suede insoles are the real MVP – they mold to your feet like a dream after a bit of breaking in. It’s like walking on a custom-made cloud! The vegan leather uppers are surprisingly soft too. I was a bit skeptical about faux leather at first, but these don’t feel cheap or plasticky at all. The adjustable straps are a nice touch, letting you get a snug fit without any rubbing or chafing. The EVA outsoles are holding up well so far. I’ve been wearing these babies everywhere from the beach to the grocery store, and the traction is still going strong. No slips or slides, even on wet surfaces. One thing I really appreciate is the cork footbed. It’s got just the right amount of cushioning without being too squishy. And it’s super flexible, so your feet can move naturally as you walk. Now, I will say that the platform is a bit chunkier than I expected. At 1.25 inches, it’s not exactly a skyscraper heel, but it does take some getting used to if you’re normally a flats kind of gal. But hey, the extra height is kinda fun!The only other minor quibble I have is that the sizing runs a smidge small. I’m usually a solid 8, but I had to go up to an 8.5 in these. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind when ordering.Oh, and one more thing – the straps can be a bit fiddly to adjust at first. The hook and loop closure is secure, but it takes a minute to get the hang of tightening and loosening them just right. But once you’ve got it figured out, it’s easy peasy. All in all, I’m pretty dang happy with these sandals. They’re comfy, cute, and seem to be holding up well to daily wear and tear. If you’re in the market for a new pair of summer kicks, these are definitely worth checking out!

Title: Good Sandals, Requires a Short Break-in
Review: These sandals by CUSHIONAIRE are good sandals as long as you understand that thick cork will take a few days to break-in. The first day of wearing the sandals, the footbed felt fairly hard and the soles stiff. By the third day, the footbed had molded to my feet and now feel comfortable, and the soles, while stiffer than “rubber” or leather soles, are plenty flexible enough for walking about. The description has been updated since I purchased these, and I would say that sizing is accurate — true to size. I wear a size 10.5W, and they description used to say “wide” width (not in the size, just in the description). I can usually wear 11’s if they are a little wider than normal, and the 11’s that I got are almost wide enough (small amount of pinching on the outer edges of my feet). The straps are comfortable and stay where you put them. The velcro closure means that you can adjust it pretty much how you need it, and there is a loop for the strap to keep it from working loose. This makes it a little hard to adjust, but once you’ve got it set, it stays in place securely.Overall: Good sandals from CUSHIONAIRE and worthy of consideration.
