Prosecutors say this was his way of trying to hide his money so the IRS couldn&#8217;t garnish it.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators are also accusing Twista of spending &#8220;heavily&#8221; during this period instead of using the money to pay his taxes, including the purchase of at least four luxury vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Court records show he has been facing unpaid tax issues dating all the way back to 2011, and they now total more than $440,000. Each of the five charges carries a maximum penalty of up to one year in prison, though the sentence is ultimately up to the judge.<\/p>\n<p>Twista has not publicly commented on the guilty plea or the allegations detailed in the court filings.
