I was angry,\u201d Hov says in the conversation, published Tuesday (March 24). \u201cI haven\u2019t been that angry in a long time. Uncontrollable anger. You don\u2019t put that on someone. Like that\u2019s a thing that you better be super sure\u2026 It used to be like that. You had to be super sure before you put those kinda things on a person, especially a person like me. \u201d<\/p>\n<p>The accuser claimed that in 2000, when she was 13, she was raped by Ja\u00ff-Z and Diddy at a house party after the MTV Video Music Awards in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit sparked a legal war between attorney Tony Buzbee and Ja\u00ff-Z after the filing. Hov sued Tony Buzbee for extortion prior to the rape lawsuit being filed last year. Buzbee accused Ja\u00ff of paying former clients to sue the lawyer.<\/p>\n<p>Hov went on to explain that he had to tell his business partners that the lawsuit was coming.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo I have partners, you know, I\u2019ve had big deals with, I called my guy from LVMH. \u2018Hey, man, this is coming, and I can\u2019t get rid of it. I can\u2019t take a settlement.\u2019 It ain\u2019t in my DNA. First, I had to tell my wife that\u2019s just back up. Like, it ain\u2019t even in me. I can\u2019t, I couldn\u2019t do, I know what this is going to, the weight that this is going to bring on our family. I can\u2019t do it.<\/p>\n<p>The makeup, I would die. It would\u2019ve been cheaper, yes. Cheaper, quicker, move on with your life. It was like a testament because people know me, like, \u2018I know who you are and that\u2019s impossible.
