However, the lawsuit was on hold while Rocky&#8217;s criminal case played out. The ruling on the civil case comes a week after Rocky was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/asap-rocky-not-guilty-gun-assault-case\/\" target=\"_blank\">found not guilty<\/a> of shooting Relli. The lawsuit date has been set for Jan. 12, 2026.<\/p>\n<h4>Read More: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/rappers-beat-legal-cases\/\" target=\"_blank\">12 Rappers Who Beat Major Legal Cases and Walked Away With a Victory<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>A$AP Relli has been the butt of jokes after he claimed he was shot by Rocky during an altercation in Hollywood, Calif., and testified during the trial, earning himself the nickname A$AP Telli.<\/p>\n<p>On Feb. 20, two days after <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/asap-rocky-assault-trial-jury-deliberations-status-6cacae4494190d9777986ff471f701e0#:~:text=about%20the%20case-,A%24AP%20Rocky%20has%20been%20found%20not%20guilty%20in%20a,to%20know%20about%20the%20case&amp;text=LOS%20ANGELES%20(AP)%20\u2014%20A,derail%20his%20life%20and%20career.\" target=\"_blank\">Rocky was acquitted<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/asap-relli-addresses-hate-asap-rocky-not-guilty-verdict\/\" target=\"_blank\">Relli responded to the backlash<\/a>\u00a0with a message on his Instagram Story showing that he is unbothered. &#8220;Gossiping is a form of entertainment for people who have no meaningful goals or purpose in life,&#8221; Relli wrote. &#8220;Hate me, bring shame to my name, say bad things about me, I don&#8217;t care.
