{"id":39227,"date":"2025-09-01T22:04:40","date_gmt":"2025-09-01T22:04:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/site.itshrt.com\/hiphopmagizine\/50-cent-reacts-to-mark-zuckerberg-investing-in-shreveport\/"},"modified":"2025-09-01T22:04:40","modified_gmt":"2025-09-01T22:04:40","slug":"50-cent-reacts-to-mark-zuckerberg-investing-in-shreveport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.itshrt.com\/hiphopmagizine\/50-cent-reacts-to-mark-zuckerberg-investing-in-shreveport\/","title":{"rendered":"50 Cent Reacts To Mark Zuckerberg Investing In Shreveport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-6606220950177433\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- ItShrt Hip Hop Magizine News -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6606220950177433\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"9431463036\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/50-cent\">50 Cent<\/a> is delighted that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is joining him in investing heavily in Shreveport, Louisiana.<\/p>\n<p>The Meta head recently revealed plans to spent billions of dollars building a new A.I. facility in the city.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a move welcomed by the rap legend who has also based his business in Shreveport.<\/p>\n<p>In a since deleted Instagram post, 50 wrote: \u201cI told yall all roads lead to Shreveport.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/50-cent-wants-to-build-a-g-dome-in-shreveport\/\">50 Cent recently announced plans to build what is being termed the G-Dome<\/a> in Shreveport, Louisiana.<\/p>\n<p>50 has already set up his G-Unit Studios facility in the city and is planning to expand further, something supported by local government committees.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the expansion plans is the G-Dome, which is inspired by the Las Vegas Sphere and will be a permanent arena in the city.<\/p>\n<p>Further details about the potential facility have not yet been announced.<\/p>\n<p>Plans for G-Unit Studios to be a tourist attraction are also underway though again, more specific details have yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n<p>It was revealed earlier this year that <a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/50-cent-sports-entertainment-venue-shreveport-stageworks\/\">the rapper and actor had been allowed to take over a space that he would convert into a sports and entertainment venue<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The rapper and businessman will take out a decades-long lease on the Stageworks building, with the plan to turn it into a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue.<\/p>\n<p>The venue will undergo a partial renovation so that it can host basketball, volleyball, boxing and MMA events, as well as concerts, car shows and conventions.<\/p>\n<p>50 has been granted a 30-year lease on the building which can be extended by another 15 years, with his G-Unit Films &amp; Television company paying a rent of just $200 per month.<\/p>\n<p>He will also be responsible for all maintenance and operational costs.<\/p>\n<p>After he was granted the lease, 50 said at the meeting: \u201cI just want to say, in the short period of time, I\u2019ve come to like the people of Shreveport in a different way. It feels like home for me, and eventually it\u2019ll be home because I have some work to do.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI remember [Councilman] Alan [Jackson], the first time I spoke to him after Humor &amp; Harmony, the first thing he said was, \u2018Well, what\u2019s next?\u2019 And I was like, \u2018I think I need to talk to tourism.
