I always hoped we\u2019d collaborate\u2014and now, over a decade later, it finally happened!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The track serves as the lead single from Eric\u2019s upcoming album, It All Makes Sense, an evolution of the sound he explored on his 2024 release, It\u2019ll All Make Sense Later, which featured the original version of \u201cUnderstood.\u201d Recorded in Cape Town with a collective of African artists, producers and songwriters, the 2024 project was what Eric describes as a \u201cfaith walk,\u201d and a transformative journey that pushed him to boldly explore new musical territory in a way that feels both authentic and global.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Beyond the new single, Eric continues to engage his fans in the creative process for his albums. For It All Makes Sense, he recently shared short performance clips of several tracks from the album and invited fans to vote for the next single. The winner \u201cVogue\u201d is now the centerpiece of an #OpenVerseChallenge, where aspiring singers submit their own verses. Selected submissions are featured on Eric\u2019s Instagram, allowing followers to vote and comment on their favorites.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Eric recently launched his own Lyrical Lab Podcast, a fresh, fast-paced series of \u201cquick chat\u201d interviews where he connects with songwriters, artists, producers and creatives. Each episode features authentic conversations where guests share the lessons they\u2019ve learned, stories of overcoming challenges and fun career moments blending inspiration with practical insights.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In addition, Eric recently launched his own independent distribution label, All Wins Entertainment. \u201cIt\u2019s been a long time coming\u2014so much blood, sweat, and tears to get here and we\u2019re still just getting started,\u201d he says. \u201cThere\u2019s been a void in artist development, and I\u2019m dedicating my time and energy to bringing that back.
