The dismissal has been filed without prejudice, meaning it can not be filed again. This indicates Diaw and Brown may have come to a settlement.<\/p>\n<h3>The Allegations in Abe Diaw&#8217;s Lawsuit<\/h3>\n<p>Diaw sued Breezy in 2023, claiming the singer struck him with a tequila bottle multiple times for no reason at TAPE nightclub in London. Diaw claims Brown continued to kick him when he fell to the ground unconscious. The attack left Diaw with multiple injuries, he claims.<\/p>\n<h3>Chris Brown Still Faces Criminal Charges<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/chris-brown-arrested-attacking-producer-with-bottle\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chris Brown was arrested<\/a> for the attack at\u00a0The Lowrey Hotel by the Metropolitan Police after arriving in Manchester, England, for his Breezy Bowl XXL World Tour on May 15.<br \/>Rapper <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/chris-brown-plea-hoodybaby-arrested-assault\/\" target=\"_blank\">HoodyBaby<\/a>\u00a0was also arrested in connection with the assault. CB is currently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/chris-brown-released-bond-uk-jail\/\" target=\"_blank\">out on a $6.7 bond<\/a>\u00a0and performing on the European leg of his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DIzSKvBTkDN\/\" target=\"_blank\">Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On June 20, the singer appeared in court and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/chris-brown-uk-assault-case-trial-date\/\" target=\"_blank\">pleaded not guilty<\/a> to\u00a0suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. However, he was indicted on two more charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and having an offensive weapon. His trial date has been set for Oct. 26, 2026.<\/p>\n<p><em>XXL<\/em> has reached out to Chris Brown&#8217;s attorney for comment.<\/p>\n<h3>What This Could Mean for Chris Brown&#8217;s Future<\/h3>\n<p>With a history of legal issues, these allegations serve as the latest hit to the superstar&#8217;s image. It could also have serious ramifications.\u00a0He faces a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/pop-culture\/pop-culture-news\/chris-brown-charged-uk-alleged-2023-assault-rcna207016#\"
