Bollin Jr. on April 28,\u00a0Chief U.S. District Judge Amos Mazzant entered final judgment on May 12, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/business\/2025\/06\/03\/jury-sides-with-murdered-dallas-rappers-estate-in-music-ownership-tussle\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Dallas Morning News<\/a><\/em> reported on Tuesday (June 3). Mo3, born\u00a0Melvin Noble Jr., was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/mo3-shot-killed\/\" target=\"_blank\">shot and killed<\/a> in November of 2020 after being gunned down on the interstate in Dallas. His family sued Bollin in 2023 for\u00a0copyright infringement, conversion and tortious interference after he refused to deliver to them Mo3&#8217;s music files after he was killed.<\/p>\n<p>Following a week-long trial and two hours of deliberations, Mo3&#8217;s estate was awarded $2,500 for a Digital Millennium Copyright Act\u00a0violation and $2,500 for the unauthorized use of Noble\u2019s name, image or likeness.<\/p>\n<h4>Read More:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/hip-hop-artists-we-lost-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hip-Hop Artists We Lost in 2025<\/a><\/h4>\n<h3>Yella Beezy Charged With Mo3&#8217;s Murder<\/h3>\n<p>In March, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/yella-beezy-arrested-capital-murder-killing-mo3\/\" target=\"_blank\">Yella Beezy was arrested and charged<\/a> with Mo3&#8217;s murder.\u00a0The 33-year-old rapper faces a charge of capital murder while remuneration, or murder-for-hire.\u00a0Authorities say the rapper paid a man named Kewon White to shoot and kill Mo3. Kewon White was arrested and charged with Mo3&#8217;s murder on Dec. 10, 2020.\u00a0White is currently serving a nine-year prison sentence for gun charges related to Mo3&#8217;s shooting,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox4news.com\/news\/markie-conway-yella-beezy-arrest-murder-for-hire-melvin-noble-2020-i35-shooting\" target=\"_blank\">Fox 4 News<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>After initially being given a $2 million bond,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/yella-beezy-jail-release-murder-for-hire\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Yella Beezy<\/a>&#8216;s bond was reduced to $750,000 a week later.
