Diddy&#8217;s team claims the clip has been altered. According to the opinion of a forensic video technician on Diddy&#8217;s team, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2025\/04\/17\/diddy-video-expert-claims-significant-distortion-cassie-beating\/?adid=social-tw\" target=\"_blank\">the video has significant distortion<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/cassie-ventura-testify-against-diddy-real-name\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cassie plans to testify<\/a> during the trial.<\/p>\n<h4>Read More: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/rappers-beat-legal-cases\/\" target=\"_blank\">12 Rappers Who Beat Major Legal Cases and Walked Away With a Victory<\/a><\/h4>\n<h3>Brian Steel Is Officially on the Diddy Case<\/h3>\n<p>After filing paperwork announcing his intent to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/XXL\/status\/1912287884125651212\" target=\"_blank\">join Diddy&#8217;s legal team<\/a> on Tuesday (April 15),\u00a0Judge Subramanian officially signed off on the move on Thursday (April 17).\u00a0The addition comes nearly two months after one of Diddy&#8217;s former co-counsel, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2025\/02\/21\/diddy-attorney-anthony-ricco-withdraw-defense-strategy-battle-sex-trafficking\/\" target=\"_blank\">Anthony Ricco, removed himself from the case<\/a>. Diddy&#8217;s lead counsel, Marc Agnifilo and Tony Geragos, remain on the case.<\/p>\n<p>Diddy is facing a total of five federal counts after being <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/diddy-new-charges-third-superseding-indictment\/\" target=\"_blank\">charged in a third superseding indictment<\/a>\u00a0earlier this month, including one count of racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
