According to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.courthousenews.com\/called-to-testify-as-hostile-witness-soulja-boy-denies-assault-claims\/\" target=\"_blank\">Courthouse News Service<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>SB denied the woman&#8217;s allegations but did acknowledge a series of vicious text messages the rapper sent to her that were shown to the jury as evidence. At times, Soulja Boy became agitated with the plaintiff&#8217;s attorney&#8217;s line of questioning.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the woman&#8217;s claims that she was Soulja Boy&#8217;s personal assistant before the two became romantically involved, Draco told the jury that the woman was never hired in a professional level. However, to the contrary, he did admit that\u00a0he often requested that she perform certain tasks\u00a0for him.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You would tell her to go get you food,&#8221;\u00a0The\u00a0woman&#8217;s attorney Dean Aynechi implied.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I would tell her to go get <em>us<\/em> food,&#8221;\u00a0Soulja Boy replied.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You would tell her to buy you clothes?&#8221; the attorney\u00a0asked.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If she was already out, I would tell her to buy some clothes,&#8221;\u00a0SB confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>From there, text messages Soulja Boy sent to his accuser were shown in court. The texts revealed that at some point, the relationship between the rapper and his accuser was more than contentious. The texts included messages\u00a0like &#8220;f*k U b**ch&#8221; and &#8220;I hope you die slow.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Those are your words?&#8221;\u00a0The attorney asked.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These are my words,&#8221;\u00a0Soulja Boy dryly replied.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Is it OK to talk to women like this?&#8221;\u00a0attorney Dean Aynechi asked.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;No,&#8221;\u00a0Soulja Boy agreed.<\/p>\n<p>At one point during his nearly two hours on the stand, Soulja Boy reportedly became visibly irritated when asked to read written answers to questions given during discovery before the trial. Because of the combative way he replied, the rapper was chastised by the judge.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Y&#8217;all don&#8217;t know how to read?&#8221; Soulja Boy said sarcastically when asked to read the written questions to the jury.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mr. Way [Soulja Boy], that is not helpful or appropriate,&#8221;\u00a0the judge scolded<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, Soulja Boy was never asked about the woman&#8217;s rape claims. The plaintiff&#8217;s attorney only asked questions about allegedly beating the woman.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Are you telling this jury you never laid hands on her, sir?&#8221;\u00a0the attorney asked.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Never,&#8221;\u00a0Soulja Boy said confidently.<\/p>\n<p>After the woman&#8217;s attorney rested his case, Soulja Boy&#8217;s legal team declined to question him at that time, reserving the right for when the defense presents their case when the trial resumes next week.<\/p>\n<h4>Read More: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/rappers-beat-legal-cases\/\" target=\"_blank\">12 Rappers Who Beat Major Legal Cases and Walked Away With a Victory<\/a><\/h4>\n<h3>Soulja Boy Faces Serious Allegations<\/h3>\n<p>The lawsuit against Soulja Boy dates back to January of 2021, when he\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/soulja-boy-sued-raping-beating-holding-hostage-personal-assistant\/\" target=\"_blank\">was sued<\/a>\u00a0in Los Angeles Superior Court by an anonymous former female employee. The woman claims she started working as a personal assistant for the rapper in 2018 and by the following year, they started a romantic relationship. Soulja began being violent with her soon after, the lawsuit says. In the following months, she claims she was raped, assaulted and kidnapped by Big Draco, who also subjected her to a hostile work environment and did not pay her the wages that she earned.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On one occasion, defendant Way punched plaintiff so hard in the head, she lost consciousness, only to wake up in a locked bedroom with no mattress, food or water,&#8221; according to the lawsuit. &#8220;On another occasion when plaintiff tried to quit and leave defendant Way, defendant Way locked her in a room for approximately three day against her will with no hot water until she was coerced into not leaving.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Soulja Boy&#8217;s attorney, Rickey Ivie, called the lawsuit a money grab. &#8220;The plaintiff\u2019s claim is not supported by reliable evidence,&#8221; Ivie said during opening statements. &#8220;The claims are driven by the ulterior motives of jealousy, revenge, and financial gain.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>XXL<\/em> has reached out to
