Rod Wave Arrested for 14 Serious Charges
Rod Wave was arrested on multiple felony charges in Atlanta yesterday in connection with an incident in April.

On Tuesday (May 20), the Florida rap-crooner was booked in Fulton County on 14 counts, including aggravated assault, possession of a firearm or knife, tampering with evidence, criminal damage to property, pointing or aiming a gun or pistol at another, conspiracy to commit a felony and more. He was released on bond the same day.
The incident for which Rod is charged occurred on April 21. Details about the incident have not been confirmed.

Rod Wave’s Past Legal Issues
This is Rod Wave’s second arrest since 2024. He was arrested for gun possession by a convicted felon in Florida last April. However, he was released after the information obtained about his felon status was inaccurate.
In May of 2022, Rod Wave was arrested for battery by strangulation in connection to an altercation with his ex-girlfriend. The case was dismissed a couple of weeks later.
Rod released his most recent ablum, Last Lap, last October. He followed that up with the Last Lap Tour. However, he canceled the tour in January due to production issues. He released the song “Sinners” on April 4.
