As the summer draws closer, the hip-hop scene is starting to heat up. This week, a Louisiana rapper with a viral single drops a new album, another rhymer from a different part of The Boot also delivers a new LP,  an Oakland MC drops off his latest project and more.

Rob49 Drops Let Me Fly Album

Rob49 has a viral hit on his hands with the single “WTHelly.” The New Orleans rapper strikes while the iron is hot with the new album Let Me Fly. Coming in at 22 tracks, the album features a star-studded guest list, including Lil Wayne, Cardi B, Sexyy Red, Meek Mill, G Herbo, Quavo and more. This is the follow-up to the 2023 album 4 God II.

Fredo Bang Delivers Big Bang Album

Fredo Bang has been making a lot of noise in 2025. Following the release of the joint album, 8 Legged Gorilla, with TEC in March, Fredo spins the block with the new solo album Big Bang. Preceded by the singles “Feel a Way,” “Chopstick” and “D!e Slow,” the album includes 17 songs. Loe Shimmy, Skilla Baby and YTB Fatt and appearances.

G-Eazy Releases His Helium Album

After pushing back the album earlier this year, G-Eazy returns with the new LP Helium.  As the follow-up to 2024’s Freak Show, G gives fans 10 new songs including the single “F**k & Fight” featuring Delilah Montagu. “The albums about celebrating the highs of love and life as well as how fleeting those moments and feelings can sometimes be,” G recently commented on Instagram about the project. “Parties don’t last forever, love sometimes fades, and balloons don’t fly forever. But it’s all a part of life and in the end it’s worth it all.”
