Louie Ray – ‘Don’t Be Mad At Me’ Video + New Album

Flint, Michigan rapper Louie Ray released his eagerly awaited album Tables Turn, via OneRPM / Still Grinding Entertainment today, alongside the official music video for “Don’t Be Mad At Me.” Recognized as “The Motivator” for his relentless grind, Louie Ray showcases a fully realized vision of triumph over adversity on Tables Turn, while “Don’t Be Mad At Me,” produced by GRAMMY Award-winning Drumma Boy, serves as a bold declaration of Louie’s rise.

The visual for “Don’t Be Mad At Me” kicks off with fan love as Louie roadruns through Houston—swinging by Johnny Dang’s for jewelry and linking with That Mexican OT and Sauce Walka in the club. From city to city, Louie puts his grind on full display, recording wherever he lands, making it clear nothing can slow him down now that the tables have turned.

The inspiration for the album’s title relates to how things can change in the blink of an eye. That shift is what drives Louie’s new project. From the raw opener “Still Louie Ray” to the reflective closer “Getting Hotter,” the project’s fourteen tracks chronicle Louie’s journey from the streets of Flint to an unshakable position at rap’s forefront. The album’s soundscape—crafted by producers Vibe Dealer, TWFDB, Murda Beats, and SeChange—along with guest appearances from Detroit heavyweight BabyFace Ray (“Ray Ray”), Flint mainstay BabyFxce E (“Bag On His Head”), and Houston’s That Mexican OT (“Big As Hell”), adds further dimension to Louie’s Midwest roots.
