Kid Cudi Testifies Against Diddy at Sex Crimes Trial
Kid Cudi testified during Diddy‘s sex trafficking trial that Puff broke into his house and set his car on fire after learning that Cudi was dating Cassie.
Kid Cudi Takes the Stand
On Thursday (May 22), Kid Cudi was the latest prosecution witness to take the stand against the Bad Boy Entertainment founder, Inner City Press reports. Cudder told the jury he dated Cassie in 2011, during a time when she and Diddy were separated. The rapper claims Cassie told him Diddy found out about their relationship via Cassie’s phone. The Ohio MC told the jury he called Diddy, who told him he was outside of Cudi’s home. When Cudi returned to his house, the security cameras had been removed and the house had been broken into.
“Gifts were open, some stuff I got from Chanel,” Cudi said. “And my dog was locked up in the bathroom.”
Cudi said he called Diddy back and threatened to fight the music mogul. Cudi and Cassie broke up shortly after. However, the harassment didn’t stop, Cudi said. Some time later, he said his dog’s caretaker called him and told Cudi that his Porsche was on fire in the driveway. Cudi testified that the fire was caused by a “Molotov cocktail.”
After the incident, Cudi set up a meeting with Diddy because things were “getting out of hand.” The two met to smooth things over and talked things out. Cudi said Diddy told him they were homies, and strangely offered him water twice. When Cudi asked Diddy about his car, Diddy said, “I don’t know what you are talking about.”
Cudi testified that he saw Diddy a couple of years later, and Puff was apologetic.
Cassie initially accused Diddy of blowing up Cudi’s car in a civil lawsuit she filed against Puff in November of 2023. His team confirmed the incident.
