Sneakers, gold, luxury brands, status. There are many layers to consider with regard to this idea of "adornment" in hip hop culture, and what it means to place this set of gold teeth in the centre of a hallway in a glass case, where most people crossing from room to room in this major public art exhibit will encounter it.
