Prepare the Surface
Wire brush surface to remove all loose flaky rust.
Do not brush down to bare metal: XionLab Rust Converter product bonds best to a rusty surface.
Wipe away debris with a cloth, brush or air pressure. All grease and oil must be completely removed from the surface. rinse thoroughly.
Stir well
Stir the product thoroughly until a smooth. Even consistency is obtained.
Apllication
Apply the product with a brush. roller or sprayer. Make sure the metal surface is uniformly covered. for spray application: dilute with up to 15% water to a 0.5-1 mil dry film thickness.
Dry & Curing Time
Allow the 2-in-1 converter & primer to dry completely for 48 hours before applying a top coat. If a top coat is to be applied using only one coat of product.
IF not applying a top coat, a 2nd coat of product may be applied before the first coat has dried within 2 to 4 hours.

Title: Easy to prepare, use and clean up!
Review: This product has worked exactly as described! For my projects it worked best when thinned as directed – which also allows it to cover MUCH more area! Don’t let the price tag chase you away. A job done right that stands the test of time and elements is worth it. Title: It’s low odor and so easy to use!
Review: I did my homework on a rust converter online and when searching Amazon I found this product to be a very inexpensive and an efficient way to refinish my clawfoot tub. I know that most of these products are used on cars parts or machinery but I sanded and sanded an old clawfoot tub but could not get the rust removed so I wiped it down when the product arrived and painted it on which was so smooth and simple, it’s red (I wish it came in Black) but when I painted over it with my primer and hammered black spray paint it covered perfectly it paints on smooth the quality seemed amazing (make sure you stir it very very well before use) the cleanup was so easy cuz you can just wash your brush, hands and anything else you may get it on with soap and water if you’re a messy painter. That little container amazingly covered my clawfoot tub with two coats (yes I follow the directions and waited before the second coat) with some left over (it was difficult but yes I followed the directions before I put my primer and paint on it) and I have to tell you my clawfoot tub turned out beautifully! I may have to wait years to see if it rusts but the paint adhered and I am a very happy person that I bought this product on Amazon!

Title: Went on well
Review: Used this product to seal and stop rust that was compromising the metal pan holding the cement on my back porch. Seemed to adhere very well and I can only hope it stops the rust from continuing. That will be determined over time. (that’s why 4 and not five stars). Overall pleased with this product and after looking at similar paints I thought this was superior. At this point would purchase again.

Title: Automotive rust.
Review: I’ve been in the auto body business for 30 years. I’ve seen every kind of rust in and on every place possible on a vehicle. I’ll start by saying this will not fix your rust or remove it. This is a convertor that will bite into the oxide of the rust and seal it. And with that said it does a great job for it’s intended purpose. So remember if let’s say the bottom of your doors are cake rusted. Like 95% of all auto rust. It comes from the inside. Not the outside in. That bulging area is swelling from the interior panels. So if you purchase this. Make sure you knock as much of that cake rust off then use this liberally. Use it’s thickness to your advantage and lay it on there. You’ll easily see if it’s sealed. Make sure it is completely sealed. Any opening allows moisture to get back under it and keep the process going and rusting. If you’re mechanically inclined enough to remove the interior door trim panels. Do it and get it down inside there. Even if you have to put it in a squeeze squirt bottle and shoot it down in there. You will seal your rust off and add years to your panels. Same thing if you can get under the vehicle and get it back in the cavities of rocker panels and cab corners etc. Use the factory jig holes for access. If you can cover it all. You’ll keep it all at bay for a long time. The average cost to replace rocker panels. Doors etc is in the thousands. Why not spend a hundred or so on something that def does work if you use it as they say but mostly cover ever bit of it. I’ve used ***** saver many times and good luck cleaning yourself or your tools. Because it’s a mess. It works. But a mess trust me. This stuff will wash right off if you’re prompt. I’ve had this on my f350 lower doors for 2 years and honestly don’t take care of my truck at all. And the rust is still at bay

Title: Amazing product
Review: With a little pressure washing to knock off the loose paint, this product went on like a dream. I saw a youtube video of someone wearing a rubber glove with a sock over it, and they would just scoop a little of the product out and coat railings quickly and with very little mess.I’m so pleased with this product, and we’ll be painting over it this weekend with a gloss enamel — very much looking forward to the low maintenance from here on out. Have finished half the railings on the porch, and not even gotten through half of the gallon I bought. Absolutely worth the money.

Title: It works very well
Review: I have a farm. 6 years ago I Rebuilt a cattle trailer. I pressure washed the trailer especially underneath.it was still wet. I used a cheap Wagner power painter and cut the primer with a little water so it would flow better. It worked great even on a wet surface. I used the rest on a rusty old 3 pint 8 foot blade i pull behind my tractor. It’s great. The results are just wonderful.

Title: Containers are only 3/4 of product
Review: I ordered a 1 gallon and a 5 gallon container and they both arrived 3/4 full. I did not have enough to finish the job. I emailed the company and did not get a response. This is a very expensive product to show up under filled. Other than that the product seams to have good adhesion on steel beams. 1 coat looked really thin, 2 coats look like good coverage.
