It was easy to install but the clamp was smaller than I expected and is smaller than the clamps that were on the device. These look like copper\/copper clad, and the original were not copper. However I have a different use for these. When making voltage measurements around batteries, inverters and chargers using thick cables I am not always able to connect my small voltmeter alligator clips to the large connectors. I keep two of these handy to connect to the large power connectors and then connect the small alligator clips to the back of these clips.
