A few years ago I had tried some double-sided tape, and it didn&#8217;t perform very well. A more comprehensive search, which included ways to remove the old tape, recommended this tape.I removed the old tape with a wizard wheel attached to my drill and make sure to surface was clean. The application of the state is pretty simple, and I opted to install it on the back of the molding to confirm that it wouldn&#8217;t visible after attaching it to the body panel. The bottom line is that the stuff works great. The molding, even though it had some lifting and some areas of stress, now lay flat.
