Really heavy duty and strong gripping. My old clamp broke as the housing is plastic. It is part of my car jumper so i wanted to fix it. Man this was easy to replace. I didn&#8217;t even use the provided copper thingies that you&#8217;re supposed to crimp the wire too. I just removed the old teeth and it fit right into the metal\/steel clamp and i was able to screw right in. Didn&#8217;t have to mess with anything. Plug and play!! Then i just moved up the plastic sleeve to cover up the handle. Showing a picture of the original black in red to show the difference. I&#8217;ll eventually replace the red one once it breaks. I&#8217;m pretty stoked on how well these new clamps are. They grab the post terminals tightly and the jaws are in perfect alignment. I&#8217;ve noticed cheaper store bought pairs usually have weak clamping pressure and the jaws are usually sloppy.
