The outer edge of the thread was a little scratched, but that doesn&#8217;t take the load, the flanks of the thread were good. The metric 12M I bought for the other vehicles seemed to be a little better quality craftsmanship. But nevertheless, it&#8217;s still a good quality plug. Magnet is super strong. I didn&#8217;t use the supplied crush washer, after reading the reviews. I used the UTSAUTO 12mm fiber sandwich crush washer sold here, but I had to ream it out with a 15\/32&#8243; drill. You can read my review for them in their listing. It does take more time to drain, but you can drain directly into a jug and that alone justifies the price (no waterfall = mess = no unhappy wife!).
