Title: Amazing Results On My Toyota Highlander
Review: I had a door that had been pretty nicked by my kids opening the other car door in our garage. I own a 2022 Black Toyota Highlander Hybrid.The results were amazing. It erased the nicks. Title: Works to hide white scratches on black paint
Review: Had a few scratches on the black paint of my car. The scratches reveal the undercoat which is white or light gray and are very visible. Applied this paint which is basically a brush that goes into the paint tube. It isn’t a soft pointed sable paint brush so the paint strokes are much wider than needed to fill the thin scratches. However, it works and black tends to hide a lot of detail. Looks messy on close inspection but not noticeable if you aren’t looking for something.

Review: Love it . It works like a charm, very durable. Color doesn’t really matter if it is black. Because it is a pre paint. Pluse it went on the bottom of the truck, were its black. But it also was used on my bed as a pre paint job. There was a little rust whole , the whole is still there for now, but at least I’ve stopped the rust from getting bigger. Next step will be painting the area’s of Yellow. That will be next spring. I will keep painting the area’s so nomore rust will be back.

Title: Works good, needs more gloss
Review: I used it to touch up areas on my civic. Worked great on several kinds of touch ups but it needs more gloss. You can tell the area seems dull. I tried an entire side panel and the panel seems flat. I can’t deny that it looks way better than it did before.

Review: Used with a handle attachment for easier control ($6 on Amazon, its worth it). Has a good spray pattern compared to other spray paint cans (pattern is taller than it is wide), I’m just not that good at spray painting and over sprayed some areas causing the runs..Note for amateurs like myself: if you miss a spot on the first coat, your best bet is to let it dry before trying to get it. That’s what caused the runs you see in my pictures. (Zoom in, if you can’t see them)

Review: I was rushing & didn’t read thoroughly enough. I only buy rustoleum so I don’t need primer. But this is not the auto paint with primer. The one with primer is the same price. I’ll be using it for my next coat. I hope this 1st coat didn’t ruin the paint job.This looks good now, but I don’t expect it to last without primer. I don’t get why this is even made.

Title: Nice texture and adhesion
Review: The box had been opened and taped shut on one end. All can were dented up but the hike clips were still on and the lids were secure. First can was fine, havn’t opened the others yet. Used a drill mixer to make sure this was blended well. Paint is very thick compared to regular paint and goes on easily (be sure to prep the surface properly) Covered perfectly with 2 coats but did one more with a textured roller just to be sure. I used a brush for most of my project due to having a lot of corners and small spaces. Paint self levels a bit. DO NOT GO BACK OVER WET PAINT… IT WILL BUNCH UP. LET IT DRY AT LEAST AN HOUR. Sand any bumps, drips, and “high traffic”areas between coats. 70 degrees and 50% humidity, first coat dried solid in about 3 hours…. touchable in about an hour. 2nd coat wasn’t totally dry for 4 hours but was also touchable in a little over an hour. Texture and color is consistent.

Title: Used this on a speaker cabinet build instead of a truck bed
Review: Used this on my amp cabinets and it looks fantastic! I doubt I ever use tolex an amp for myself ever again.I used a 9″ blue foam stippling roller and got nice, even finish. Two coats gave me plenty of coverage and seems very durable. I used the same stuff years ago on my pickup bed and had no issues so I figured it would work just as well on my amp. Especially since its just gonna sit in the corner of my room.To prep the cabinets I scrubed the boxes with some 80 grit and and thoroughly vacuumed off all the dust. You can see the before and after. It works great and I will definitely use on my next speaker build.

Title: Looks great, covers well
Review: Used this in the bed of our 2003 Silverado that was in rough shape. This covered very well, put two coats on and it looks great and has a good no slip quality to it. Would go five stars but the durability as far as being scratch resistant could be better. It’s not the quality of a professional bed liner like rhino lining but for the price this is great and well worth the effort to put on unless you don’t mind paying $500 for rhino liner.

Title: Not very durable nor hard as a bed liner should be
Review: Applied one coat,tried to spray, didnt work as too thick and jelly like and gun clogged to splatter. Rolled on ok, A bit streaking. So apllied a second coat next day. First coat never hardened fully. Hard to touch but easily indents and scratches off. Also in sun became sticky again? Applied second coat. Better coverage and thicker mils. But still soft. Will wait more time, but others said same, doesnt fully cure hard. Im sure it will fail over time. But im putting under hard shell liner so whatever, Used as a corrosion protection.Ill use rest for undercoating, as its like tar not paint.

Review: I use Dynacoat Clear Pro typically but I ran out with one panel left. I decided to order this since it is literally half the price. Using the same gun and settings I was able to achieve a much flatter and smoother finish. Following results have been the same at different (colder) temperatures. Doesn’t smell as strong either which is a plus.

Title: Good For the Price, But Plastic Has Holes and Has Problems
Review: These are OK. I give them 3 stars. I didn’t trust the tape to create hard edges on my van exterior, so I taped everything off with rough 3M painter’s tape beforehand, and then I taped this tape to that tape. Personally I would never trust this tape to make good lines, but it may work for you.These do save time when painting, as we all know that tucking plastic underneath the tape ourselves is a pain. However, the plastic is extremely thin. If you’re working outside, FORGET ABOUT IT. A small breeze will make your life miserable. I was fighting the wind like a crazy person when using this on my van outside.I don’t believe I unraveled a roll of a single tape/plastic run of this that didn’t have at least one hole in it that I had to tape over. The plastic sheet is so thin that you’re going to have holes in it.It also has a design flaw of sorts. As your applying the tape, the plastic can get stuck underneath the tape and then not unfold to length like it’s supposed to. Then you have to rip it off it’s own tape and then you get a massive hole you have to cover up.If you want something more professional, get a 3M Hand Masker and 3M tape/plastic rolls. That’s obviously more expensive though.This is pretty darn good for the price, so I gave it 4 stars.

Review: As someone who builds “Alpha/Romeo 14+1 pew pews” (IYKYK) I wanted something scratch resistant and rust proof to protect my yeet tubes. Cold bluing is ok, but leaves the steel still vulnerable to moisture and surface rusting. Since the yeet tubes will be subjected to a ton of heat, I chose this particular product. Couldn’t be happier. 3 coats went on super smooth, dried evenly somewhere in the ballpark of semi-satin (?) …less than satin, but not quite dead flat. Zero runs, dries fast, and way better than a lot of other brands I’ve tried. I think I’ll be using this product on all of my boomstock yeet tubes from now on. Couldn’t be happier! Professional look, finish, and texture at a fraction of professional smithing costs!! I even recommended this to a bunch of my outdoor enthusiast buddies and vet friends! Review: I have a gas fireplace and after 20 yrs, on the inner frame around the glass, the paint started to peel. Looked bad, wife mad. So did a lot of looking to try and match the paint color and ended up with this paint. Mistake, this paint is flat and my fireplace has a low/medium smooth finish not flat but not glossy. That is what I would have done different is try to find a low or medium glass instead of flat.When I stripped the paint on that frame I seen the manufacturer did not prep the surface, it had a vary smooth steel finish. I wondered how the original paint did not peel up sooner. I sand blasted the frame with coarse media, so the new paint would stick and sprayed on 2 medium coats.Looks great aside from the vary slight difference in finish and the color is not a perfect match. This paint being flat and the paint on the fireplace having a smooth low gloss finish. The difference is noticeable but does not look bad. Wife happy, life is back to being good.. lol.Of course it is holding up well so far, only a month and handling the heat of the fireplace so far, but I can not comment on longevity or endurance. I’ll update this review in 20 yrs.

Review: I REALLY like this spray paint, and I used the rust-oleum sheer grip sprayer with it, which made it so much more simpler to spray without having to keep the spray button down constantly.I’ve sent two pictures, #1 had the hubcap on it, but it’s easy to see the rust behind it on the rim, which looked pretty ugly. When I got my new tires I had them leave the hubcaps off, I brushed the rims to remove dirt and some rust, and then spray painted each one, first putting masking tape on the lugnuts so I wouldn’t paint them black. The spray paint made them look brand new, like they were always that way. Perfect coverage and smoothness, no running, looks so natural, and makes the rims beautiful, probably nicer then when I got them!I’m extremely happy, it adheres so well to metal, and makes them look brand spanking new!! 😁Happy customer!!!!!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I want to add one more thing, so I decided to edit my review.I thought I’d have to use several cans of paint for all 4 rims, so I bought 3 of the cans, but 1 can took care of all 4 of the rims, and I spray painted them 4 times for each rim, giving them a layer at a time until it achieved what I wanted, COMPLETE coverage and PERFECT color!One thing else, I notice others say it rubbed off, one person I noticed said it did with alcohol, I don’t know what the circumstances were exactly, but always do a good brushing, enough to rough it so the paint will stick well. It sticks very well to metal that’s already pretty rough, like my rims, but I still needed to brush all the dirt and everything else that was on them, so that the paint adheres even better, and there was no rubbing off whatsoever.

Review: This is some great high gloss paint, I used it on my lathe converting it from green to red and black and it turned out amazing, this sprays on quite well. Be sure to cover your ground where you are painting or bring your project over some grass so you can just mow over your overspray. Title: Cherry Red isn’t cherry
Review: If you think red is just red then you will probably be fine with this color. Personally, I really wish they could be a bit more accurate in naming colors. There is no way this is a “cherry” red. It is a very bright, almost neon, somewhat orangey red. For a true cherry red it should be a much cooler hue.(But what do I know as a professional interior designer for the last 25 years).That said. I used this to recoat a faded birdhouse. I used a nozzle adaptor to save strain on my hands and the paint went on effortlessly, atomized nicely and without splatter. Definitely needed 2 coats, but reds are notrious for not having great coverage so your results may vary. Whether this will hold up well to UV remains to be seen-especially since I will likely look for another color to recoat it in a more pleasing shade of red.

Review: Glad they have this on Amazon as it’s not easy to find where I live. Acrylic Enamel is great for oily applications where enamel won’t hold up. There’s better high solids paint out there, but for the price, it’s a win.Color: it’s very bright red. Not subtle at all. I used this to coat a vintage gas can on a rehab job. It went on smooth and finished hard. If you want more of an engine or caliper paint, this will work but be prepared for that the color is more disco than turbo.

I was hoping one can would’ve be enough, as these are 2x but needed to order another can just to get a 3rd coat on the visible sides and 2nd coat under the “unseen” shelf sides. I used this after using a primer on bare, unpainted wood. Has a good, even spray pattern but you do need to shake the can well in between coats and while painting to prevent splotches. Title: Watch out for cloudy/foggy Gloss Clear
Review: I’m by no means an expert and learned how to spray these over the last week so keep that in mind.The Bad:I sprayed the two quarts of Championship White, ½ quart of Performance Red along with 2 quarts of gloss clear right from the can to the gun without any product issues. Anything that went wrong was due to me and not the product. I was hoping to wrap up this project and opened the 3rd quart of Gloss Clear and noticed it was cloudy/foggy. Hoping it wasn’t going to cause any issue I tested it on a small area and sure enough I noticed the Performance Red turning what looked to be more pinkish. I’m guessing whatever was wrong with this quart reacted with Performance Red and it discolored it and/or made it cloudy. I waited for it to dry and re-shot that area with another coat of Performance Red and then got my refund on Amazon for the quart. I’ll use that money to go to my local AutoZone to pick one up today so I can finish this project rather than wait and see if I receive another defective fogged quart from Amazon. I couldn’t find a vendor to contact to let them know that their warehouse stock may be defective.My comparison to Rust Oleum rattle cansI have been using rattle cans for years with pretty good results (I wouldn’t paint a car with them but my smaller household items look very nice) but wanted to give this type of paint (Entry level pre-thinned “Automotive”) a try and wanted to see if there was a significant difference between it and rattle cans.Short story – I’m going back to rattle cans.It’s an okay finish but following three coats of Gloss Clear (I did not sand/buff and polish) it’s not better than what I can do with the Rust Oleum products and I don’t usually top coat them with their gloss clear nor do I sand/buff/polish them. I have used gloss clear and then they look even better. Maybe with more practice I could improve the output for the lacquer but what really bugs me is that ton of clean-up is needed to clean the gun, it’s messy pouring from a quart can and then the dirty lacquer thinner that you use to clean up needs to be disposed of properly. With a rattle can you just throw it away. Obviously, there are shortcomings with a rattle can but the convenience and clean-up is why I’m going back to them, as well as cost. I wish Rust Oleum had the same color choices in a lacquer paint as they do for enamel (Which takes soooo much longer to dry than lacquer – definitely a positive for lacquer paints but the lack of color choices is another negative). The other thing is the cost of the lacquer paint and other items needed (Lacquer thinner, paint strainers, lots of paper towels, etc). The project I did as a test I have done before using rattle cans. Two rattle cans of red and four cans of white for under $40. This Dupli-Color lacquer was over $100 more just in paint, not including the additional supplies! I really wanted to like this spray process over the rattle cans but I’m heading back to Rust Oleum.

Review: Never painted anything automotive before. Never used a paint gun. Ended up spraying with LVLP. Highly recommend LVLP if your compressor doesn’t have enough CFM’s to keep up with HVLP. Learned a lot, still a lot to learn. Do your research if you have never painted anything automotive before you start. Product was easy to use. Didn’t have to worry about reducing anything or adding hardener since it was ready to spray right out of the can. Had to wet sand, cut, and buff to get final finish. Had good bit of orange peel when finished spraying. Don’t believe it was product. I’m sure it was me since I’ve never painted before. Will definitely use this product again. Really don’t expect the end result to look as good as it does.

Review: WARNING, This advertised Candy Apple Red paint is FALSE. The image on the can of paint shows a depth of red that someone would consider it to be a candy paint. The instructions on the can is self stats that there is no thinning required and you will get the desired look of this product. Candy paints are translucent paint meaning you can see through it to the base coat of silver metallic, which is also advertised on this product as a system.Start of use of this “system”Started with primer layer which laid down good, no issues.Started laying down 3 coats of silver metallic basecoat, layed down good, no tiger stripping, no issues.Started laying down there “Candy Apple Red”First thin layer completely covered the metallic base coat and no metallic could be seen through this paint.The paint as is, is about 5% transparent. This product is being falsely advertised as Candy Apple Red, even the image on that can shows a color which is not capable of producing which is also false advertising.Tho the price point is low, you will be completely disappointed with this product and you will have wasted time and money.I’m writing this long review because even tho somehow this product is got 4 stars and I don’t think its based on honest reviews and I dont want others to fall for this trap as I did.

Review: I posted a picture so you can see that you can get good results with this product, if you properly prep, spray, and can final cut and buff.Few things I have learned: this will get destroyed, almost instantly by gas. Even with 5 coats of clear, and about 4 weeks of curing before we even installed, still damaged it beyond repair with just a few drops.Second, buy Dupli-Color specialty reducer, and mix with all of the paint shop colors at 8:1 (paint:reducer), it sprays, and lays down just perfect.Third, because this isn’t an ‘activated’ paint, you can save what you don’t use, either using interchangeable cups systems, or pour into a sealable container (NOT back into the can if it still has something in it.Fourth, the Dupli-Color clear is adequate, however it does not flow and cover like newer products, nor is it going to be a great finish without some buffing. We used 1500, 2000 and 3000 grit sandpaper by hand, followed by 3M Rubbing Compound and 3M Ultrafine Machine Polish on Yellow and Grey foam pads respectively.Lastly, when you think you have enough coats, in particular with the clear coat when you’ll be cutting and buffing, do more. Like double. The thickness is not great, so it requires additional coats to prevent burn through when final finishing.This was painted without a paint booth, using only the Paint Shop system, the DeVillbiss Starting line guns, and exclusively 3M finishing products.

Review: Not bad. when you first spray it on its almost matt ( spary about 4 coats). Dont freak out! You have to sand with 1500 grit wet sand then buff with buffing compound and it comes out realllly glossy. Just a lot of work to get that glossy finish!

Title: LVLP spray gun
Review: This gun is a LVLP not a HVLP just to make that aware. I had nothing but great experience with mine and thought it shot paint well. One thing I’ll tell you is this company is a rare type of company. Their customer service is a 10/10. I was new to spraying and instead of asking my step father for help cleaning it, meaning I should have had him teach me before I did it alone. I broke my first one as in it broke because I was excited and wanted to use it and thought to myself they can’t be that hard to clean. They definitely are not hard to take apart to clean for someone who has done it before but for a guy who had absolutely no idea what he was doing, well cleaned it but I also broke it. I contacted them and explained what I did and asked if there was any way I could buy the part I broke. You know what they had the audacity to ask me? They asked me for my address and told me a new one was on its way. Do you want to know what they had the audacity to send me? They sent me an entire new kit free of charge, I payed nothing including no shipping. LimeLine is a customers business. These guys are top notch. They sell all sorts of paint supplies. 10/10 would and will buy again.

Title: Amazing company and Service
Review: When my first paint gun arrived one of the knobs was cross threaded. I reached out to Time Warp Custom Paint and they didn’t not even hesitate to make things right. They offered to ship out a replacement immediately. Companies like this are few and far between. Not only is Adam a Excellent painter but he run a great business that actually cares about its customers and their happiness. I will definitely be ordering more Lime Line products in the future.
