The gun working pressure on the nozzle cap can be lower than 10 psi compared to the HVLP, while the HVLP on the air cap works at 10 psi and usually pushes higher.

Title: Love this spray gun!
Review: I bought this along with a 2.0mm nozzle so I could spray my kitchen cabinets.In addition I also bought the 3M 26003 PPS 2.0, S2c 16mm female,1.5mm adapter for the 3M 26301 PP2.0 22oz spray gun cup, lids and liners kit with the 125 micron filter. Those are not cheap but make the spraying experience a LOT easier. Also a $10 water/air separator, so you don’t get spots in your finish.Of course you need an air compressor to make it all happen. I ended up getting a Kobalt 26 gal quiet tech 4.5 cfm @ 90 psi for $380 from Lowes.Using the R500 was easy and it comes with instructions. I was able to use primer and SW emerald urethane satin enamel straight, without having to thin it. I took out the plastic inline filter from the spray gun because it wasn’t necessary.Overall I’m very impressed with the results that I was able to get! Make sure that you use a respirator and if you’re spraying inside a cabinet use a piece of cardboard to cover your respirator to protect from the blowback. Otherwise your respirator will get clogged very quickly.

Title: For the price , it’s still better than others
Review: Now the reason I normally this spray gun was it came with 3 different fluid caps and a regulator and the gun is metal not aluminum. Unread all the reviews on this gun and since I used to own a Sharpe Platinum version morning and beat that gun unfortunately mine broke this one looks good and it sprays very well from unrthan to oil base paints also tri color and pearl pants it gets the job done and looks good the gun is very comfortable in your hand the size is perfect and I must say that the gun is machines very well and it’s easy to disassemble and reassemble and all the functions work just like they should I means the price you can’t go wrong no orange peel no runs or drips nice quick gun to paint almost anything with except clear coat I noticed a couple of rough panels after using this to clear coat a car door . Nowy Sharpe was way over $800 dollars and this gun did a pretty remarkable job I was impressed with it. So yes but this gun you won’t be disappointed

Title: Great with PPG Shopline
Review: This gun sprays base and clear great, having shot a truck hood and roof and an Escape fender. 30 Gallon 3 HP Craftsman compressor providing air. Did not over exert the compressor in the least.Used PPG Shopline and highly recommend that too.A little orange peel, but that was due to being a bit rusty with a paint gun.For the DIYer looking for a great gun at a great price, this is it.

Review: This pain then works really well with many different materials I had used it with a thick epoxy primer and it sprayed perfectly with the 1.8 into my no tip they come with it it also has a variety of finer tips for clear coat and base coat.

Title: Great gun for price
Review: I have a 25 gallon compressor so I needed a low-volume low pressure gun this one painted like a dream. It didn’t overwork the compressor and it put out plenty of material on the parts. If you were do it yourself or on a beginner this is perfect. I was spraying primer with it. It comes with multiple nozzles, but the 1.4 and this one was sufficient.

Title: Gunk on some sprayer components
Review: I observed a minor issue with the product I received – there was an unusual white substance on both the paint inlet joint and the air adjustment knob. While it might be some form of thread lock or sealer, the application is inconsistent, and traces of it even extend to the air inlet body. This was weird because this unit is designed for complete disassembly, making the presence of thread lock or sealant somewhat odd. It’s possible that it’s either a case of poor application of thread lube/lock, gunk left over from manufacturing, or potentially contaminated metal. Those issues didn’t affect the overall quality of the gun, but it bothered me as I expected pristine and clean.UPDATE (10/26/23): After engaging with the vendor, I’m pleased to report a positive resolution. They sent me a complete replacement kit, and I found the replacement unit noticeably cleaner and more in line with my expectations. After putting it to the test, I’m happy to report that it performs excellently, with all the components working as intended and a high quality spray pattern. It’s worth noting that the kit I purchased also includes four (4) nozzles, representing a very good value.I’ve noticed that multiple vendors offer a re-packaged R500 gun. I must commend the vendor, DAXINYANG, for their exceptional customer service. They have truly impressed me with their high level of assistance, showing responsiveness, friendliness, and support throughout. For their top-notch customer service and follow-up, DAXINYANG certainly deserves a full 5-star rating.To that end, I’ve updated my review and improved the star rating. Review: Revised. Was supposed to get 1.3/1.5/1.7/2.0 per listing. But boxes (see photo) indicated they sent 1.8 instead of 2.0. Turns out the boxes were marked wrong and the 1.8 box contained a 2.0. So it’s all per the listing. Seems well made and is the R500 folks like on YouTube.One star removed for incorrect tip.

Review: Obviously it will not compare to the highest quality guns out there (such as my kremlin xcite) but for quick low CFM output on the job and mobile projects its awesome at the price and size. I find it to be fairly adjustable in all aspects from liquid flow knob to fan size and pattern. The atomizing is decent and has the option to change the cap and needle sizes depending which model you purchase as some come with only 1.3. The weakness I find is the air adapter that is included is so so but hey at least they include one. Anyway I broke it onnits second use so I would definitely recommend changing that to something like the 3m type. Sprayed 2k primer so far with a makita big bore 4 or 5 cfm compressor with some minor catching up at 45 psi and conversion varnish will be next and eventually some water base. For smaller projects it’s okay better would be with an expension tank or larger but anyway it’s doable.

Title: Buy it!!! It’s awesome!!!
Review: These are amazing! So easy to use! As you can see from the pic I was painting my stairs and these did an amazing job. Took me less than an hour to get the whole area prepped. I was able to mask off the entire staircase in one piece. Lots left over. They cling to the wall, I had to add tape to hold them in place because I was using a high power paint sprayer but if you were just hand painting you would not even need the tape to hold the sheet up. Highly recommend.

Title: 3M plastic
Review: This 3M plastic with tape is very genius idea for painters. We really liked the ease of this and cutting it to apply it to the door frame and trim. It made our life easier and actually went out into the tile and across the doors you can see in the pictures to cover it so the paint did not get on it, I only gave it four stars because the adhesive is very strong so keep in mind. It does takeoff paint and stain on your trim.

Review: Initially, I had serious doubts about the product’s quality due to its very fine nylon composition, leading me to mistakenly think it wasn’t a good investment. However, after installing them in various locations primarily as dust insulation, I was pleasantly surprised. They effectively cover all spaces and have a dust-adhering property that provides additional environmental protection. It turned out to be a worthwhile investment. The market offers very competitive prices and a vast variety of options. Recently, I purchased a cheaper brand and hope I won’t regret this decision.

Review: Poor adhesion. Pulled off freshly painted wood with only slight wind wasting time and effort. Probably for a car surface in a paint booth, but suggest you get the generic with the common tan tape. Holds much better.

Title: Love this product!
Review: This is an awesome product! I had a small painting project that needed to be done, but didn’t need a big dropcloth. The project was the three short walls of my breakfast bar. I had already removed the baseboards, so I just unrolled this product and placed the painters tape with the paper attached and lined it against the wall to protect our tile floors. This was super easy to unroll, attach and cut and it also came with scissors! I unfolded the paper and that made for a wider protected area. After painting and before I removed the tape and paper, I placed my baseboards on the paper and painted them. The paper appears to be water/paint resistant. It does not soak through if you have some paint drips. When all the paint was dry, I moved the baseboards, removed the tape and paper and popped the baseboards back into place. (Of course, I nailed them in and caulked them.) This is a really great product, much better than my usual painters tape and plastic or cloth drop cloths. I would purchase again and again! This made my life so much easier, since I would not have even been doing this if it weren’t for a dishwasher leak. Five stars!

Title: easier masking using this painter’s tape/paper combo
Review: masking edges while painting trim or walls is a pain. First you need to cover the edge, and then you need to come back over with a covering for the surface you don’t want painted. this product simplifies things for you by combining these steps. the tape sticks well and sets a good edge for painting if pressed down firmly. the paper extends out 18″ providing a good amount of protection from dripping. with 50′ included per package, you will need several packs to paint a good sized room.

Review: The paper itself is good, holds up well to automotive urethane paint, the tape that comes ON the paper, is not well suited for automotive use. Poor adhesion, falls right off, and it’s too narrow. I ended up having to use my own automotive grade tape to use this stuff.

Title: Just like the pros use
Review: This Painters Tape and Masking Paper combo is just what the pros use. I’ve tried store bought combos and this one is in line with big box brands. It does exactly what it’s designed to do. The tape holds on clean dry surfaces and the paper keeps the lines sharp without allowing overspray or drip to ruin your project. A roller and handle would be nice but for the price you can’t got wrong.

Title: Needs to be stickier
Review: I used this Yunxihui masking paper variety pack while painting my trailer. I try to keep it looking nice so I paint the metal every other year. There is plywood sides and floor that is encased in a metal frame. When I paint the metal, I don’t want to get paint on the wood. Initially, it seemed like this tape stuck well to the plywood but it started to pull up and come loose pretty quickly. I pressed it down a little firmer but it only lasted a few minutes longer before starting to pull up again. I took it off and tried a different roll. It worked better but still not as good as I thought it should. Great concept and the paper did keep the paint off the wood in places where I was able to paint prior to the tape letting loose. I almost deducted two stars but I don’t think the issue was quite that bad. I ended up using this product but just added some name brand masking tape to the edge and this worked well.

Review: I’ve used this tape for years for all of my Cabinet finishing/Refinishing. Gar better value than the Green 3m solvent tape that I used to use. Great Value and Great Solvent Tape. The release is far longer with this tape than the 2060 green 3m tape.

Title: Really handy little things, even though the tips sometimes give up
Review: Really great for touching up rock chips and other “pinpoint” paint jobs, and I’m happy to always have a box on hand. Very well sized for that sort of work. Not being a brush as such, they are better for dapping rather than feathering. The tips do tend to gum-up/disintegrate/come off if used for very long, but after all they are intended as cheap little throwaways and they work just fine as that.

Review: I got a few of these micro brushes with a car chip repair kit and they were the best things ever. Thought I would order some on Amazon but didn’t expect quality to be so different. The heads easily fall off on these Amazon ones and you get loose fibres sometimes. As for the one that came with the chip repair kit has none of these problems and I have rinsed those brushes in acetone a few times. I have contacted the chip repair people and buying brushes from them instead for a bit more money but worth it. Only thing is I wasted money on these that will just go in the bin.

Title: Great product, great price
Review: I purchased a case of Rust-Oleum Bed Liner, the product did a great job for the project I had for my truck. Make sure you prep the area you are going to coat well by sanding/scuffing the area then applying some kind of primer/filler to the area as well. It dries fast which I say to touch like 30mins, did apply 3 coats for the best results. I do say make sure there is open air flow due to the overwhelming smell of the spray. Spraying was easy just make sure to give some distance also use full motion back and forward best results if not will give you drip spots. It’s not to rough so easy to wash.Will I buy again for more things on my truck yes I will, the only down side was 2 cans did explode in delivery of the product. Rust-Oleum did a great job about refunding my money equivalent to the lose product I did received.

Title: Worked like a champ
Review: Had a jeep with rusted out rocker panels. Stripped out most of the rust including grinding the surface rust. Then rednecked the rocker panels using chicken wire and spray foam. After shaping them used this to seal and color the previously damaged area including putting a coat over the sun bleached trim. Not a smooth gloss paint job but for a jeep that will be being beat up on the trails looks real good.

Review: It sprays on nice and heavy but you may want to keep a rag handy because the paint gets accumulated on the nozzle and drips if you dont keep it clean or the nozzle may clog itself if you let the spray sit just a few minutes like mi e did. I did 2 coats on a little 6ft nissan hardbody bed with 2 cans, but ran out on the sides of the bed. I think 3 cans is good for that. If this lasts, I am going to do my full size 6ft bed on my truck. I am guessing that would be 4 or 5 cans for 2 coats which is what the can says to do.

Title: Excellent value for cheap jobs, but spray heads SUCK!
Review: On 7/27/16 I bought 2 of these cans on Amazon for $6.50 each as an “Add-On” to use on PRIMED PLYWOOD.First, RUST-OLEUM SUCKS FOR NOT FIXING THE SPRAY CLOGGING ISSUES!!!!I am making an 8” high (above wheel wells) false bed, which extends over the open tail gate, for my 2009 Nissan Crew Cab. This is for 2 reasons.1. Sleep 2 people comfortably.2. Wheel wells prevent efficient packing of the vehicle, particularly with Costco/Home Depot storage tubs. Now I can pack up to 14 pre-organized and labeled camping storage tubs (7 on 7) perfectly, within 5 minutes while packing long things like poles, tools, rods and chairs underneath the false bed. Ratchet strapping is now simple, fast and requires no bungees.1. I bought some 3/8” plywood. Home Depot recommended I used Kilz2 ($17) to prime it.2. I applied 2 heavy coats on the top and 1 on the bottom using 3/4 of a gallon.3. I allowed the paint to set 2 days between coats. Have no idea if that matters.On 8/29/16, today, I used the first two 15oz cans of Rust-Oleum Truck Bed Coating.1. I first weighed both cans without the caps. Can1 = 19oz, Can2 = 19.2oz.2. I used a Rust-Oleum Comfort Grip trigger ($6) which I already happened to have. Having read 90% of all of these reviews, there was no possible way I was going to attempt to use this stuff without a spray trigger.3. I shook both cans at least 4 minutes each over 1.5 hours as I did other stuff. I have no idea if that helped, but I was not taking chances.4. When I began painting it was 87F with 16% humidity.5. CAN1 began sputtering immediately. I kept shaking it upright while I sprayed and did not get any drops until about half way when it started sputtering again. I then turned the can upside down and the spray became very smooth and I did not have to shake it at all, but then drops started falling and became worse as the can emptied. SEE PIC. When the paint ran low, I began doing the 3/8” sides so I could continue painting.6. CAN2 began sputtering immediately and I immediately turned it upside down when I began spraying resulting in paint drops again, but no shaking was necessary. The paint drops are of no consequence whatsoever for this project and will be hidden by the second coat. When the paint ran low, I had to stand the board up to continue.7. Two cans barely covered the 57”x80” (32sf) surface and 3/8” sides in a splotchy manner with numerous small areas not fully coated. 3 cans were required. It will take a minimum of 3 cans to do a second coat correctly.8. After using every possible drop I could, can 1 weighed 4.5oz and can 2 weighed 4.3oz for a net usable amount of 14.5oz and 14.9oz respectively. Woo hooooo!!!9. I compared the grit on the finish with 60/80/100/120/150/240 sandpapers that I had on hand. It was very hard to compare since the painted grit was much more sparse than sandpaper. My best guess would be equivalent to between 80-100 grit.10. This stuff does not compare in any way to the stuff sprayed professionally in truck beds. However, it’s so cheap that you should consider carefully whether you need the professional spray job or the better brush/roll-on versions.TIPS:1. USE A GOOD SPRAY CAN TRIGGER!!! They work great upside down too. I did not get a single drop of paint on my latex gloves while spraying despite shaking the can, and with drops falling.2. Spray the downward area of the item first. Then when the can starts sputtering, you can level the can out towards the sides and effectively use more paint.3. A can might cost you up to a $1 more at Home Depot or Walmart. So don’t worry about under-ordering.*** 30 August 2016; UPDATE/CORRECTION ***I bought an additional 4 cans from my local Home Depot at $7.46 ea, before 10% military discount, for a total of 6 cans, the last one for touch ups.The 6 cans weighed an average of 18.98oz before using (without cap) and ranged from 8.7 to 9.3oz. The 5 used cans weighed an average of 4.2oz after using as much as possible for a net average of 14.84oz of paint per can.When I began painting tonight, it was 88F and 24%RH.CAN3: I neglected to turn the cap to the front after shaking it and began spraying inside the trigger housing. Bummer. I had to clean it up real quick before starting again. I turned it upside down to spray and it began sputtering badly. I turned it back upright and it began spraying smooth until it got down to about 50-60% and then I had to shake it up and down every 10 seconds or so at decreasing intervals.CAN4 worked the same as Can3.CAN5 worked the same also except that it had a much, much better black matte finish then the other 2 cans, which is good because I over sprayed with Can3, and it ran, and was too glossy.TIP 4: How your cans perform depends on the batch, which depends on where you bought it.

Review: I painted bumpers of my old truck and they looked new. Had left over so I painted the plastic headlight surrounds and plastic grill and they looked brand new, painted the old metal frame on gate and it looked new, painted old metal basketball pole and made it look new. Very easy to spray, you have to make a big error for it to run. I painted bumpers more than a year ago and they still look great.

Review: It’s easy to use and if you’re familiar with spray, guns at all, this one is as easy as any. Does have a tendency to spit and sputter at times even when full of paint. Dialing up paint and air pressure just makes clog up. Making the paint thinner didn’t seem to help with full air pressure and then comes out with too much air is far too misty. I have yet got to solve this issue. However, the spraygun works flawlessly about 85% of the time it’s 15% is spent cleaning the needle and nozzle, which does seem to relieve the problem, so it may just be a build up overtime of tiny bits of dry paint on the needle and nozzle. All the accessories are great all fit together nicely, and I highly recommend to a beginner painter, but for a professional painter, you might want to spend a little extra on a better made gun.I give it four stars and recommend it to friends.

Title: The results are what matter…right?
Review: I really had no idea how to set up an HVLP gun. So I watched a couple videos on youtube. I painted with Rustoleum Professional oil based paint. It’s pretty thick. Thinned it 8:1. I set the gun to about 70 psi and tried it and the spray pattern was great. I took it to the underside of my homebuilt tunnel hull boat and applied it in two light coats and it sat down nicely and turned out great. Sure beats 3 or 4 days of sand, roll, and tip. Sand, roll, and tip. ETC Only gripe is that the knobs on the gun didn’t seem to do anything to adjust the pattern. And the included regulator didn’t seem to do anything either. I just used the one on my compressor. The overspray was minimal. I almost didn’t even need to hang plastic in my garage. Very pleased.

Review: Arrived when they said it would. Gun and components look well made. I know others said that the nozzle was on too tight and had a difficult time removing it. Here is what I did and had no trouble. The gun itself is in bubble wrap so I laid in on the floor, placed the gun on the wrap, positioned the wrench on the nozzle, stood on the gun and pressed the wrench with my other foot. loosened up immediately. I have not used the gun yet but will in the next week or so and I might amend this review at that time.

Title: Do not leak like the ones on Temu
Review: These work great , the lids snap into place to insure the seal . Bought the ones on Temu , they leaked and ruined a panel paint job causing hours of repair work. I used to use Devillbiss cup system, which also work great but are too pricey for me.

Title: I love this!
Review: It was always such a pain to clean the reservoir on my gravity feed gun every time I got done spraying. Now I just remove the disposable cup and clean just the adapter and the short fluid path in the gun (connecting the gun to high pressure and spraying brake cleaner into the cup adapter seems to work quite well for me). I tried leaving some thinned oil-based enamel in the cup with a plug for a few days but it congealed anyway, probably would have been ok in the short term and should work well for just changing colors and then going back. It came with male and female adapters and one fit my gun perfectly. The cups and filter lids seem very nicely made. One of the best features of this type of cup is that the cup collapses as you spray and if you hold the gun upside down and hold the trigger it will suck all of the air out of the cup and after that you can spray at absolutely any angle which you can’t do with a conventional cup. I love it!

Review: Buyer beware!!!! Cup liners leaks between adapter and lid. Will ruin a paint job!! Product is not usable it is garbage shouldn’t be sold on Amazon It’s a defective product. This products will scam other customers because it’s not a working product. Please take these down from your site so others won’t get duped into buying this product and wasting their time and wasting Amazon’s time. I’ve been using PPS cups for many years this is the first product I have purchased that leaks profusely around that adapter and cup liners. This is a very Defective product

Review: I love this kit and it is at a very fair price. The only thing negative about all of these types of kits is that with darker paints you cannot really open the lid to check the level but really it is just a very minor issues overall I LOVE MY mixing cup system and will order more cups in the future. Thanks.

Title: I’m happy with them.
Review: They get the job done. I’ve kind of gotten used to straightening liners from import kits like this, and this is no exception, they are crushed and stuck together. But they are cheap enough that if a few need tossed, I don’t feel bad. Just know that going into it, you are still saving quite a bit with these.One last thing, don’t plan on mixing your clear coat in these cups. Unless you have x-ray vision… They are a bit more on the “white” side of the color wheel than the “clear” side.

Title: Great for rock chips
Review: Already got a couple of rock chips in the 2 months we’ve owned our new Tesla. Good thing i bought this. Paint seems to match perfectly. Or certainly close enough for my eyes. I wouldnt use the paint burhs the provide but maybe a toothpick to dab the paint on the chips. The repair will look a lot cleaner and more subtle.

Title: Nice match for Tesla 2023 blue
Review: I used the pen function for a couple of chips and scratches. It flowed on nicely and color match was good. Don’t expect an invisible repair however. The paint stands up slightly from the surface. I’m not picky, but if you are, it might be able to be sanded down with fine polishing grit of some sort. I didn’t try that.

Review: I was a bit skeptical about this product because the price was fairly low. I was pleasantly surprised, the color match was perfect down to the size of the metallic in my original paint. It was easy to apply and the scratches and rock chips disappeared. I did prep the surface by using alcohol. After the paint dried, I polished with a rag and some automotive polish. The polish really helped to even out the surface. My scratches and rock chips were fairly small. It may be difficult to get a perfect repair with larger damage.
