Review: This 3M gun is my main base coat gun. I have Iwata LS-400 and many other base coat guns, but this gun saves material, and shoots great. You can get tips from 1.0 to 2.0. But these 1.2 works great for sealer and clear. I use my Iwata WS-400 for clear, but i have used the 3M for clear before.

Review: I just completed painting my boat with this spray gun. Works so much better than expected, cleanup is such a chore with my Binks 7, 20 seconds to clean then this is like a new gun with each use. Some may be concerned about the cost of the liners, tops with filters, and spray tips, but if you are shooting 50 dollars of paint per refill, it suddenly makes so much sense to have a quality tool to help me (a nonprofessional boat builder) get the results you are proud of.

INSTRUCTIONS:

NOTE: WHEN YOU USE THE PEN FOR THE FIRST IT MAY TAKE 1-2 MINS FOR THE PAINT TO COME OUT. KEEP THE PEN TIP PRESSED IN UNTIL YOU SEE PAINT COMING OUT. YOU SHOULD SEE THE TIP GET MOIST WITH PAINT, SLOWLY, STARTING AT THE SIDE THAT’S INSIDE THE PEN AND FLOWING DOWN TOWARDS THE TIP

For best results, take the tires off the car to paint the letters. This will ensure the pen tip will stay moist with paint at all times and it will not need to be reprimed as often. If you keep the tires on the car, because of the angle of the pen, the paint will not be flowing towards the tip and you will need to reprime the tip more often in order to keep the pen tip moist with paint.Clean the tires really well with soap and water or acetone or degreaser if the tires are really dirty and grimy. Scrub the letters on the tire with a brush and carwash soap.Rinse the tires really well with waterLet tires dry completelyShake pen with cap on for about 1 minutePrime the pen by pressing the pen tip in on a flat ziplock bag until the paint comes out (this can take up to 2 mins the first time you use the pen)Paint one letter at a time starting with the edges and then fill in the restThe pen tip should glide smoothly on the tire. If it feels dry and the paint job looks streaky, just press the paint tip in again to moisten the tip with paint

Granted I drive a low profile tire at high speeds, the description on the marker said it wouldn’t fade or chip and it did both on my tire! Title: Works better than other paint pens
Review: I tried two other paint pens before this and those left streaks/dark spots and would crack and flake off during driving. The paint on these pens have a chalky texture that when tried, it will adjust to any bending in the tires. The flow of the paint was good and application was easier than other pens. You do have to watch out because it sometimes overflows if you press down to hard. And the amazing thing is the waterproofness, when hit with water from a hose, the paint withstands it and doesn’t come off. But I did find that when hit with a power washer, it will come off. This is good and bad. Good because if you change your mind or mess up, it is not permanent and you can blast it off. Bad because if you were looking for a permanent solution, eventually the paint will wear off. Overall, I am satisfied with the paint pen and it looks great on my Hankooks for my DeLorean!

Review: This product claims to be better than competitors, not by a long shot.I used these markers on brand new tires and followed the instructions to the T.While they were easy to use, by the end of the second day the paint was already flaking and had faded. I applied two coats and let it dry completely in between applications.My tip to future buyers, save you money.Definitely not worth the time or effort.

Title: Great suit but the size chart is way off
Review: Dont go by the sizes listed in the chart. I would suggest go by your shirt size (for males) Im 5’9″ 180 lbs, i have a somewhat stocky build wide shoulders, my waist is 32′ . I purchased the large and i just got into it pulling it over my shoulders with a little struggle. the legs are a little long but they have elastic you can easily tuck it in. i believe if i went by the chart I would have gotten a small and never fit into it. i was able to get a sweat shirt underneath but not a larger jacket without a struggle. other than that its great. feels like full nylon and the elastic pulls in nicely around the waist , hood, cuffs and ankles. not sure how long it last , I only paint once in a while. Cant go wrong with the price.

Review: Worked better than expected. Took out several scuffs and superficial scratches out of my cars top coat with ease. I originally thought I was going to have to pay a professional detailer to get these scuffs out from my cars top coat which came from another person’s car bc they don’t know how to park. Title: Doesn’t Remove Scratches
Review: I did like the ease-of-use feature, but the product doesn’t remove scratches. It simply covers them up in certain light. The biggest flaw is that the instructions tell you to use a mild car polish after application but doing that totally brought the scratches back thus, I had to re-do the work previously done and hope that the scratches wouldn’t resurface after a heavy rain of going through a carwash.

Title: Ruined my clear coat and does not remove light scratches
Review: Had high hopes for this to remove light pin stripe scratches from branches and other trail debris on the sides of my car. used exactly per manufacturer directions and I now have huge swirl scratches on the clear coat that look terrible depending on the light. These are new scratches and is a result of using the provided pad with a drill for application.I did see some reduction in the scratches i originally bought this product to fix, however the effect was temporary and those pin stripe scratches started to re appear in a few days.I dont recommend this product. and if you do use the product do not apply with a drill – use a cloth and some elbow grease!

Review: Sideswiped my gas grill backing into my garage. There were some pretty deep gouges in the surface, so I didn’t expect much. It completely took out the light scratches and did a commendable job minimizing the deep scratches. Exceeded my expectations, so I’d recommend it!
