Title: Good color, applies well, good applicator
Review: This color works pretty well but be aware that it is not meant to be for big spots. It is just small dings here and there so you can touch it up pretty easily. The color matches pretty close to my black paint but you should always apply it to paper and see how it matches. It does have a pretty strong odor without even opening the paint up. It did dissipate overtime. I did not notice any drying out which is great. That being said, wear gloves and mask when handling this stuff. It does not require a ton of paint and the applicator is good to ensure it is evenly spread. You get a good amount of paint. It does give a nice finish but you can always do additional work to ensure it really blends well. I did not have to do much. It is black but it is more of a darker black than some cars. I am not sure if you can really mix it to darken or lighten the color. Overall the touch up paint works really well for me. It is great for just working on some small dings and such you want to get rid of. It blends well. It is not perfect but it looks pretty close. For small touch ups, you cannot really tell the difference. I still have yet to find any issues.

Title: Touch Up Paint Pen
Review: I have a few scratches and chips on my vehicle that I’ve been looking to repair. I came across this Touch Up in Universal Bright Silver Pen, and just have to try it!The product is very convenient and easy to use. The prep tip helps removes rust and loose paint. The product can be applied using either of the 2 tips included; The pen tip is for minor scratches, and tapered brush tip for larger chips, clean the area to be worked on with rubbing alcohol, shake pen well.For pen tip use: push down until paint starts to flow and apply to desired area. For brush tip use: unscrew cap, apply paint in one even direction for best results. Let paint dry for 10 mins before adding more coats. I love the design and dual use of this Awesome pen!

Review: My car got backed into and it chipped my paint completely off. I drive a white truck and the chippage spots were completely black. This paint brush definitely helped cover up the paint and it looks decent from a distance. I’d recommend for the price.

Title: Durable, great color, great alternative to powder coat
Review: This is my favorite paint for suspension and anything under the car or exposed to elements. It is highly durable, dries fast, and is more or an epoxy coating which stands up to the elements. Smooth texture, and more forgiving over other paints when spraying. Read the directions on coats.Make sure to use outdoor in a well ventelated area or with a mask.

Title: Really great, time will tell on durability ang longetivity
Review: First, thanks to those who answered my questions. I have a 1/4″ steel 20″x20″ cover over a recessed septic cover. It was originally in 2015 and by now had minor scratches and I could see the primer through. I painted it with 5 coats (the entire can) and it has a really great finish and looks great. Hopefully it will be durable through light foot traffic, snow, sun, and all the rest of the environmental factors. The sprayer leaves a REALLY nice coat and was easy to use. I caution that it’s very smelly, so best to do it outside, if warm enough and not windy. I did this in my under-house garage that is separate from the rest of the house and you could still smell it a day later.

Title: Great quality coating, when it wants to work…
Review: Been using this for years, it gives a simple satin finish which is super durable for paint, like, near powder coating levels of durability.It is however very finicky in terms of temps and really only works well in a pretty narrow range.Too cold or too hot and it’ll get runny and spray horribly, get it in the zone and it’s magic.Good product once you learn the downfalls.

Title: Perfect paint, perfect nozzle
Review: Couldn’t be happier with this paint. No dripping (except slightly where I didn’t remove grease properly – more about that below) and very fast drying. I painted four 16″ car wheels with about one and a half can, two light layers and one wet coat as per the instructions, plus a bit extra to make sure I really covered it all, and one layer on the back of the wheel.Now, as far as my comment about dripping goes, I made the mistake to sand and clean two wheels still attached to the car while I was waiting for the paint to dry on the other two which I had cleaned horizontally. Even though I took care to use a liberal amount of grease and wax remover and to wipe the two vertical wheels well, when I put the first coat on (after removing the wheels and putting them down flat), there were two spots where the paint didn’t attach properly at first. No big deal for me, but now you know. If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t rush it.After reading some comments about the paint being very thin, I made sure to shake the cans for almost twice as long as the suggested one minute. My experience was that the paint came out easily and evenly, not thin at all. I had purchased a separate nozzle attachment to prevent accidents but I didn’t need it at all. The nozzle also allowed me to spray pretty accurately. I couldn’t really get everything out of the can because of the angle I had to spray at, but other than that this was as painless a paint job as I could have dreamed of. Highly recommended.

Title: Does not resist solvents, especially contact cement.
Review: Real epoxy is resistant to most all solvents once cured. This paint, even after a week of curing, resists no solvents. Acetone dissolves it, alcohol does, and, what started it all, all kinds of contact cement. Am restoring old car, used this VHT “Epoxy” paint to coat many pieces of trim that get covered in vinyl. I stripped old pieces, wire wheeled rust off, used wax grease remover, sprayed with two-part epoxy primer (the real stuff.) Once primer was cured, I scuffed it, cleaned, and applied the VHT as per directions. Once fully cured for 7 days, I prepared to affix the vinyl covering to trim. I applied my Weldwood contact cement and found this VHT junk crinkled up and lifted from the (real) epoxy primer in minutes. So I tried Goop automotive contact cement, E6000 adhesive, regular rubber cement – all made this VHT crinkle up and separate. Big mess, hours of wasted time. In removing the VHT for repaint with real epoxy paint (KlassKote two-part), I found that acetone dissolved the VHT quickly (all of it, not just the melted areas), so did alcohol more slowly. This paint goes on nice and looks good once dry, but it’s pure junk as far as acting like a real epoxy paint and resisting solvents.

Title: Amazing Discovery
Review: I have an old beaten browning HP mark III, which came with factory epoxy coating. I thought of blueing it or perhaps parkerizing, but then decided to restore it as close as original, and then found this epoxy coating in a can!Blasted the frame and slide, light buff with fine grit sandpaper and gave it light coats. The nozzle is great, one of the best I have found in spray cans, does not clog, even and good spraying. After several coats with few minutes in between to allow it a quick dry, I did not want to wait for several days for it to harden, so I figured that since the can says it withstands temperature up to 120 C, I baked the parts at about 100 C for an hour and a half, and let them cool at room temperature for a couple of hours. Parts were safe to handle, and allowed full assembly without any marks of problems. I let the gun sit for a few days as I could not test it, and it looks and works perfectly. I am a bit curious as to how much it will last or resistance to kydex / plastic holsters, I have not used it yet as I want to be sure it is fully cured before trying, but so far, so good, and gun looks awesome, almost like a factory finish. Very happy!

Title: Bubble-gum Purple to Burgundy Red *indoor* cushion project!
Review: It took me a while to commit to trying this paint. I love my old swivel chairs…they’ve always been a great style & conversation piece to my room…but with chihuahuas on the arms and sun in the room for 8 years (plus the 20-30 years prior to my owning them) well…the royal purple of them became more the color of grape Big League Chew after you’ve had it in your mouth for an hour (who can do that, even?) anyway…I don’t have the money to get them reupholstered they way I want to…with covid, no one is coming to the house to do it and shipping them would be insane…but I’m OCD and the arms and color were killing me. So…I researched the heck out of ANY paint or covering I could use on my cushions. The link that won me over was a fella’ that used it to redo the black velvet seats in his classic car. I figured…well, if it worked well for him, I would give it a go on my “classic” chairs. I read his tutorial and a few others, and all the reviews here. Everyone IS correct: it doesn’t leave softer material soft. Now, I REALLY covered the crap out of mine. I had a “waffle” 70s fabric on these chairs – basically, the surface was like a Triscut cracker. So, I sprayed it in one direction, waited a few mins “combed” it with a high end leather brush, then sprayed in the opposite direction, waited a few mins, then “combed” it again. THEN I used a “round brush” I used to use for my hair – a medium sized one. Scratchy bristles. The kind of brush you can use to get fuzz and lint off of surfaces (yes! It works! It will also brush your wool blankets soft, too!). I did this to “soften” the paint, so it didn’t pool in the divots of the fabric. I did use a LOT of it the first time…like a can for one side of the cushion. I used less on the second cushion…with the caveat by that time I HAD to use enough to make the cushions match. I let them dry overnight – and then did a final spray and let that dry during the day in the sun a bit. I’ve never seen it come off on my hands or clothing. I’ve vacuumed it and it doesn’t crack. There is no “dust” that comes off it – that I can see. I can STILL run a brush over it to get lint off, without any harm coming to it, and no loss of color. Yes, it IS a little hard to the touch, but honestly, the chairs are for looking, not sitting generally…except for the dogs, and the dogs actually don’t seem to be ruining the paint either – they’ve “nested” in them – to my shock and surprise!!!!!! – but nothing happened. They’re still happy to sit there and, when I’ve completed the project, I’m sure I’ll sit on them, too (I’m painting the entire chair, but trying to reupholster the arms with Turkish rug material, as opposed to reupholstering all of it). I will try to post again when the entire chair is done, but the cushions turned out great so far, so I am posting in case anyone was wondering if this would work for something INDOOR. Again, would I want to paint my couch with it…that I sit on everyday…probably not. But, for a weird old fabric that was wool-based anyhow and that needed a POP of color in an affordable and DOABLE way (I’m adventurous with projects but…have to be confident I can do them without ruining something before I go for it), well…it was 100% what I was looking for. I ordered 6 more cans of it (I think I have 10?) to do the rest of the chairs. It’ll be a project that cost me less than $100. I think if I can get the entire chair looking as good as the cushions, it’ll be well worth it for the “wow factor” of the before and after. And really, this burgundy color is quite beautiful. Give it a try! ^_^

Title: IMPORTANT TIP
Review: Okay I was having so many issues with this paint until I figured out what the actual problem was. Me personally I live in Florida and it gets very humid here. Do not use this when it is humid it just won’t work on anything. But I ended up wasting like three cans trying to paint two doors until I said let me try this tomorrow and it was nice and dry outside and it just took one coat and now it’s perfectly black. This paint absolutely works and will work for you it’s very good just don’t use it while it’s humid or moist outside. Don’t wet the fabric either before trying to use this wait till things are completely dry and then use this and it’ll work wonders it’s so easy and finishes so well as long as everything is dry when you’re painting. It can get wet afterwards and be fine. But this stuff works wonders I tried it on fabric on my vinyl on the plastic bonds well looks uniform no one even splotches even when I’m not doing that even of a job this thing is so easy and it’s like perfect beginner paint transform your interior for your car in literal seconds. My only complaint is that some of the spray nozzles are oriented weirdly they’re not all the same it will not spray in the same direction one bottle will spray horizontally another will spray vertically another will spray diagonally so something to keep in mind too.

Review: DupliColor is amazing. It goes on evenly, dries in a millisecond! Looks professional and adheres like no paint I’ve ever used (and I’ve used a lot)! I have floor to ceiling shelves of paint in my specialty finishes arsenal and nothing out performs this paint. When fast drying, even color, durability is required, this is your paint.I used this color on a pair of formal leather sandals (couldn’t buy the right color shoes). This matched perfectly, and looked fabulous. The shoes survived an evening on cobblestone, a walk in gravel in the rain, dancing in a castle and being buckled and unbuckled several times and a month of travel in a suitcase and evenings out on more cobblestone without a scratch!!This is the answer to a multitude of paint questions. Yes, buy it. Use it. Then you will definitely want to use it for more projects. It’s perfect!

Review: I’ve tried a bunch of different options over the years restoring (black) motorcycle plastic parts. AutoGlym rubber restorer (liquid spray) works well when the plastic is newer (less than 10 years) and not sun faded or damaged. When the plastic parts are damaged or completely sun faded, this stuff works wonders, with a near-OEM, like-new finish. Since it’s meant for fabric, the adhesion is incredible and the plastic can flex without worrying about the paint flaking off. It has very good wear and abrasion characteristics too. It’s now my go-to product for doing this sort of repair & restoration.

Review: I’ve been using this product to clear coat an old steel desk. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with it and I think it does what it does well, when used with an eye for a couple of pitfalls I have discovered.First, it promises a nice smooth coat without stroke marks when applied with a brush, which it does deliver. However, it delivers this by remaining very slightly fluid for at least ten minutes after application so that gravity pulls it down into a nice even surface. Therefore, it is very important to apply it only to horizontal surfaces. If you put it on the side of something vertical, you will get drips and ripples where it gradually slid down from where you meant it to be, even if it seems like it’ll stay put at the time of application. It won’t. Trust me.Second, the reason why so many people complain about this product in reviews. This product will start to dry out immediately upon opening and exposure to air. It doesn’t matter how well you close the can, it won’t last for very long. Once it’s open, the clock is ticking, and you must use as much as you want to hopefully within a week or two or at the very most probably a month. Perhaps it is possible to reseal it and have it last, I’m not an expert on these things, but nothing I have tried has been very effective. This is why I have purchased this product three times, I didn’t run out.When the can is resealed, something about the chemical interactions in the can cause pressure to build up. Eventually, the pressure will pop the top open, a bit of the product will ooze out of the crack, dry, and then seal the can shut. Two days ago I had closed the can, turned it upside down to try and prevent drying on top, and placed the can in a ziploc bag. Today when I pulled it out, some was leaking from the top, thankfully it had not dried yet. When I opened the top of the can, it made an audible ‘pop’ as I released the pressure, like opening a soda.Sometimes the cans seem to open themselves before they’re even shipped to you. Several other reviews complain they’re unable to open the can at all, and I suspect this is why. My second purchase was like this, which forced me to pry it open by brute force with a mini sledge and a very large flathead screwdriver, making resealing the can impossible. That one didn’t last long. The other two cans I bought were fine.Having said all that, you might think I don’t like this product. That’s not true. I do like it and I’m happy I bought it, though I’d rather have not needed to buy it three times.If you choose to buy this in spite of these caveats, I hope that you can learn from my mistakes and have a good experience.UPDATE 06/26/23: I have been having very good experiences with can #3 after the accidental eruption. I’m finding that it may keep in liquid form quite awhile longer than I thought, provided you keep it in the original can(I experimented with previous cans transferring to other types of containers and that did not go well at all.) I don’t believe storing it upside down was very helpful, and may have contributed to the leak. Moving forward, I really only have two strong suggestions for success with this product. 1. Apply on horizontal surfaces only. 2. Once you open the can, re-open the can every day if possible and every two days at minimum to allow for pressure release. I don’t know if eventually it’ll settle down and stop creating so much pressure, or if this is just how it is, but I’m down to maybe 1/3 of a can remaining and the idea that I might actually use all of this product before I somehow render it unusable is nothing short of a miracle.

Review: I was trying to decide between this product and Rust Bullet Clear Shot and can’t remember why I chose KBS over Rust Bullet. Both products have a noxious chemical odor and require an incredible degree of ventilation during and after application but I have used Rust Bullet numerous times around the house and it stops off-gassing after about 8-10 hours if not sooner. Unless you can leave your home for a couple of days I would not recommend using KBS DiamondFinish on anything inside a house that people are living in. My family is extremely upset with me and I still have one more coat to apply! We all have headaches and sore throats due to the KBS fumes even with an extraction fan running around the clock and windows open for cross ventilation. I don’t even know if this product will survive the test of time but simply the fumes alone and the fact that it should not be used for indoor projects are enough of a reason for me to give it a low rating. I would recommend Rust Bullet Clear Shot as an alternative. I painted an outdoor bench with Clear Shot and it’s holding up exceptionally well and looks great.update: I reduced my rating to one star since the KBS coating I applied is still releasing noxious fumes four days after application! I have never used a product that smells this bad for such a long time. I decided to not use KBS for any additional coats and will switch to Rust Bullet clear shot instead. However, the length of time it is taking the KBS coating to fully cure and stop smelling is seriously impeding the progress of my project.final update: called KBS repeatedly about my issues with their product and everyone I spoke to at the company was extremely knowledgable and kind to me. I am still confused why the KBS coating took so long to cure and stop smelling. Supposedly it cures faster with high humidity and I was using it during a rainy period in damp/humid San Francisco, CA. In the end, in order to speed up the curing process, I had to open windows to the outside on rainy days to bring in damp air as well as run a fan blowing air over the stairs I was painting. Even with all of this – the KBS continued to smell for an entire nine days after initial application! After that I had to just move ahead with the work and prep and coat the KBS with Rust Bullet Clear Shot. I would never recommend a coating that takes so long to cure and smells so noxious. My project was held up for well over a week due to my decision to use KBS. I switched to Clear Shot and the noxious fumes were gone within 5-8 hours after application and my project is finally moving forward.

Review: I purchase this to apply over a car paint job, for the glossy finish. It looked great at first, but over time, starting at about 6 months, some small cracks started to appear. Now, almost two years later, the whole car is a mess – the coating is full of cracks everywhere. Terrible. The advertising said “…is able to perform in the toughest environments without yellowing, cracking or peeling.” This is false. It does crack.

Title: Great paint and primer in one!
Review: I painted my wrought iron chairs, round table and 2 plant stands in the gloss white (they were black before and had some rust spots) The gloss is just enough and not too shiney, it never clogged up, tho I did also use a spray handle attachment. Two light coats covered everything perfectly and it did dry fast with no drips. This paint is very durable, I’ve used it for years to transform things I already have to make them look brand new & to change colors with my decor. I also used the gloss berry pink on the pink footstool (that was a vinyl fabric), the pink planters, as well as the small pink chair and plant stand in these photos. These colors helped to transform my small screened in porch to a fresh, spring/summer color scheme. I plan on using other colors to paint other accessories for a fall/winter theme so I can switch them out in the seasons.

Title: Best product!
Review: I do a lot of woodworking. This is the only polyurethane I use. It goes on smooth and being a spray can makes it very easy. There is never any yellowing, unlike other brands I have used. It’s heart breaking when I would spend hours creating a product and spray it in order to protect it and come back in an hour to see all the white is now this ugly yellow color. This dries crystal clear and truly protects the item.

Review: la pintura cubre bien, la estoy usando para pintar cajones de madera por adentro, es facil de usar y cubre rapido, el cajon se ve manchado pero es la textura de esa madera, solo recomiendo agitar por unos minutos el bote antes hasta que se escuche la bolita, si no la pintura no sale y el bote se arruina (ya me ha pasado), trabajar afuera en donde no haya mucho viento porque cuando estas usando el spray vas a tener una como nubecita de pintura que luego se va, usar guantes y ropa que no te importa si mancha, yo no use en este cajon y como que parte de esa nube de pintura termine con puntitos blancos en las manos, que se quita con agua y jabon, pero eso es en todas las pinturas de spray, pon algo en el piso para que no lo manches, y no cometas los mismos errores que yo cometi en este cajon, vas a ocupar 2 capas o talvez mas si tu base es mas obscura, esperate a que la primer capa este bien seca para seguir con las siguientes, yo me desespere, puse la segunda cuando la primera no estaba seca y ahora ando esperando mas a que seque, no huele muy fuerte la pintura, pero cuando la estas aplicando recomiendo algun tipo de mascara
