Title: Door edge guard
Review: Bought these in hope to add protection to the ever so fragile paint on the doors and back hatch of my 4Runner. I like that it is an easy project anyone with a steady hand can complete in minutes. I like that it is low profile and almost invisible. Hopefully it will prove to be durable to hot summers and car washes, and most importantly accidental door dings that chip away at the paint!

Title: Good product, strips could be longer.
Review: I read a review here that suggested to spend the extra dollar to get the 5 door package if you’re doing 4 doors so you would have a spare if you mess one up. So I did. Didn’t mess one up, but two of my doors needed longer than the 5 30” strips I received. So I needed the extra strip to splice onto those two doors to cover all of the outside edge.I followed instructions and the product went on well. I wore nitrile gloves to help prevent compromising the adhesive. Good elasticity to allow it to follow sharp curves smoothly.If you do have to splice, don’t press the end of the first strip down all the way until you start the second one. The strip blends so well that I couldn’t find the end of the first one to know exactly where to start the second one.Job turned out as well as my other car that was done by the dealer.If you need more than 30” per door, buy extra.

Title: Nearly impossible to put on cleanly
Review: Very thin 3M material and also not as wide as what a dealer would put on your car (this is thinner and narrower). Nearly impossible to line this up and get it to stick in a consistent and uniform way down the door. Gave up after 2nd door attempt. Most doors have angles, this just folds over itself, bubbles, looks awful. Will just pay the dealer $100 to have this done. Inferior product, ineffective. Do not recommend.

Review: Easy install. Even did fairly well on curved areas. Must make sure surface is extremely clean as any speck of dirt will show up as a bubble under tape. Once on, tape is not readily apparent at some angles.

Review: DIY user had never seen this product before but I’m pleased with the ease of use.Put 25% Isopropyl alcohol & 75 % water into a spray bottle to clean car body, along with soft microfibre cloth.Then applied strip of door guard tape pulling bit of backing off at a time.Then when strip down front Face of door gently rolled around door edge to the inside edge.Looks virtually invisible when on vehicle and have washed car 48 hours after ( see picture for results)Over all 100% satisfactory results.

Title: This may be their best product and it is incredible.
Review: I have three cars 1998 Honda, 2006 Honda and 2014 4Runner. I had previously used Accelerate as this had an advisor to use with a powered buffer. I finished with Extreme Top Coat a wax they make – Chemical Guys. Accelerate was pretty good, but the cars develops leopard like patterns on the roof and hood that came back in about 3 months. They cars and truck were much improved. I bought a buffer and said I am going to try this radical restorer. They don’t say on the bottle to let it dry, but that is how I did it. Have your applicator damp – I used a nylon scruffy pad with scrubber on one side and sponge on the other, I applied with sponge and rubbed in it with the scrubber side gently- it flattened the surface without scratching any of the cars, I let it dry to a haze and at first took it off with a pad which took a while and the circular pad got clogged [5″] pretty fast. So I thought – let me try a microfiber towel. Way faster so I don’t think they should limit this to people with machines. I had no trouble and it was far easier. It was spectacular. Use a small applicator so you can focus on making sure the compound contacts everything and if you see discoloration, if you rub the area is should start to unify in color, then I stopped and mover on. I did an entire side or roof or hood before it dried. Do not try this in the sun. The residue came off easy – use some form of towel fabric for some bite. The paint was again one nice deep blue, purple color or gray or blue depending on vehicle. I used Extreme Top Coat because it gives it a blinding shine and more protection. I find it shinier than the hydrophilic ceramic coatings even their pricey one. The Asian ones online are crap. Chemical guys have a million products and if I had a million dollars I probably would keep on experimenting. These two made my life easier and they are cheap for what they do. For all the vinyl and rubber inside and out – I use the towelettes by Cerokote. I will never use another product other than theirs. Easy, does not smell, turns everything instantly black and satin gloss and yes I used them 3-4 months ago and everything is just like I did it. Also, I am not saying to do this, but experimentnig, I tried it on some irritating scratches on the car and it made them disappear. They must wet the rubber or surface in some way. It did turn the paint a different color or go away when I wiped it off. I know at 2$ a towelette they seem like a rip off, but I was so tired of putting on weekly coats of garbage that never lasted.

Title: Great product!
Review: For those who had a bad experience with this product, my guess is that they didn’t use the product properly, used too much or applied it in the sun. I apply it with a simple 6″ orbital buffer, one small panel at a time, then wiped it off using a microfiber cloth. Couldn’t be easier with a glass like finish. Silky smooth to the touch. The first picture shows the back plastic visor polished, the front unpolished. The second pic was the front polished with a foam pad in less than 3 minutes, easy peasy. Buffed the rest of the car with a microfiber buffing pad, a panel or 2 at a time then gently wipe off. Keep in mind that this is a 14 year old car. A mechanical buffer is the key to a glass like finish, doing it by hand is too much work. There’s something about working this product in that’s gives it great results. Even scratches polish out as long a there paint still there. I’ve been using this for years to clean headlight lenses and plastics also. Awesome product!

Title: Amazing!
Review: The back edge and side accents of my car were badly sun damaged and a different material than the rest of my car (plastic?) so I wasn’t sure if a polish would work but this was like magic! I used a wool bonnet and a cheap polisher for like $16 I got on amazon. It was one speed, I think around 3000rpm but it still worked nicely. The key is just not use too much and make sure to wipe it off before it dries. I’ll try and update this when I find out how long it lasts. But definitely worth it!

Title: Best one-step compound/wax I have used
Review: I have used many Restorer/waxes to keep up with the oxidation on my 1997 Grady White. While they all work to some extent, the Malco Rejuvenator has proved to do the best job so far. It can be done by hand but it is intended to help remove oxidation so it wont be easy. Any vendor claiming “wipe on, wipe off” for their product is probably not selling something for oxidation. For the smaller areas, the hand application works well and when polished off it leaves a streak free shine. For larger areas I used both a Porter Cable random orbital with a foam pad and a DeWalt rotary polisher with a wool pad. The Porter Cable is good for applying polishes and waxes but does not have the power to remove anymore than the lightest oxidation. The rotary polisher with a wool pad is the right tool for the job. It was fairly hard to hold onto while it was cutting through the oxidation but once it did, the Malco Rejuvenator smoothed out the surface and left a beautiful shine. You could actually feel the oxidation melt away once the Rejuvenator and the wool cut through it.The shine is beautiful and my 24 year old boat looks as good as it ever has. Hopefully, the shine will last through the summer.

Review: This product is fantastic! I needed something to mix this wood rot repair goop that had two ingredients that when mixed were only usable for about 3 minutes before they started to set and became unspreadable. This was the perfect way to mix them, use them and then tear a sheet off and do it again. Easy to carry and manipulate with the thumb hole. Great value with a lot of sheets! I will absolutely buy again!

Does this vinyl wrap require a heat gun for installation?

I believe the outer clear coating that you later peel off helps a lot with the application. No bubbles, and no wrinkles! Laid down nice and even! After the application, I peeled off the top clear layer to reveal the true glory of the vinyl image. You could actually leave it on if you wanted to, but I wouldn’t recommend that for anything outdoors or vehicles. Must say that I realy love the pricing on this product as well! Great for the price!

Title: True silver color
Review: My photos closely reveal the actual color, metallic silver. This film is has a stronger, thicker backing than others, and a clear protective coating as well. The protective coating is to be removed when you choose, knifeless tape didn’t work well with the coating on. Don’t forget to remove it, the high gloss is underneath.I used this film and another color to cover the heat-grabbing, black sunroof glass on my car.I wet apply with slightly soapy water since I work alone. I find it easier to work, and more forgiving of mistakes. I’ve never had any problems with adhesion, but since manufacturers don’t speak of it, I’ll leave that decision to you.

Title: Pretty good with some issues
Review: Overall this vinyl is pretty good. I wrapped an entire car with it. The conformability is pretty good when heated. It is pretty stiff and is thick compared to other vinyls. I found that the protective cap was pretty much useless. On a lot of the rolls is was very wrinkled and it made it hard to see if the wrinkles were in the cap or vinyl. Also when heated it separates and stretched differently than the vinyl. I would just remove it once I got it on the car in the place I wanted. The air release on the vinyl worked very well. You could get air bubbles out without having to lift the vinyl. Being thicker if you need to add seams they will be more noticeable. I had issues with two parts of the car and had to keep pulling the vinyl back off and on. This causes little bumps to form on the vinyl that would not heat out. This only happened on my issue spots so probably was more me than the vinyl. The finish is really nice. Once the car was completed you can’t tell it is wrapped. It looks like a paint job. The value was good. Longevity still needs to be tested. I am happy overall.

Title: Very impressive! Looks like paint!
Review: The other reviews weren’t kidding, it really does look like paint with its depth of color, flake, and high gloss. It’s not quite as easy to work with as 3M, but I think it’s partly because of its thickness. Still easy to work with. The color matched my Audi silver almost perfectly, the only difference can be seen in direct sunlight because of the more grainy flake, but most people wouldn’t notice. Best part is the lights shine through at night so you don’t lose the functionality of the marker lights. Highly recommended!

Review: Had to send back it’s about 3 shades darker than a general MED application of RUSTOLEUM Titanium Silver. (Yes, it will match a very heavy application as it will be a much brighter paint job). It is almost identical to actual paint.WARNING: Will ruin a NON-FACTORY rattle can paint job UNLESS it is months or years old. (in some cases even this will be insufficient as known some rattle paints never truly harden).EXCEPTION: You have heat dried “baked” your rattle can paint job.PERFECT for FACTORY BAKED PAINT JOBS or PRIMER or NASTY PAINT FINISHES you don’t care about and just want to conceal.

Review: I gave this a 5 star overall rating because it’s a great product, if, IF you know how to apply it! I’m brand new at wrapping and due to my particular situation, a smallish moving around part to wrap, it was especially difficult to do a perfect job. The fact that this product is removable and re-applyable, many times, was a great help. It’s still tough if you’re new at it.

Title: Worked well but gray is a VERY dark gray
Review: I needed it to cover scratches on a medium gray metal roofing panel. The color was almost black. Luckily it’s far enough away so it isn’t very noticeable. It was also quite thin so it ran all over the place. It did the job but if I were using it somewhere visible it would be a pretty tricky process.
