    Review: Overall this is a well thought out kit, the hardware (idlers, tensioner, water pump) seem solid, though all parts are made in China.The belt is thinner than than the OEM removed. At the spaces between the teeth, OEM (with 93k miles on it) measures .100″, the new belt measures Also, the old OEM belt has an additional layer of reinforcing fabric on the back.I am spending over $1,000 putting the timing and head back together after a cam chain failure (VW BPY motor) and don’t want to do it over again.

    The male plug is typically your cigarette lighter plug which can supply up to 10A based on the fuse. You can use this plug to charge your battery but at a trickle charge limit. The cigarette plug can cannot handle anything above 10A.

    Would this work to run the cars electric engine cooling fan?

    It is fused at 15 amps. If your fan(s) draw less amps there is no reason it would not work. Be mindful of wire sizes.

    Title: Hooked up and rolling
    Review: First ones I got in one of them had a bent loose tab that wouldn’t stay on. Amazon sent a replacement right away and I got both hooked up and working. I replaced the ones on my Tow Brake system and found out that if you connect the wires wrong no juice hits the brake system. I crossed them back working great now.

    Review: These work great. They are what they are advertised as being and come with extra fuses, which is really nice. The two things I’d change is 1) dang that LED is bright! At night the led is brighter than anything on the dashboard. Of course you can face it down, so it’s nbd, and perhaps you need it to be visible no matter where it’s facing, especially if you’re using this to power trailer lights (which I may or may not be doing). The second is that the spring for the center contact is more powerful than the springs that make contact with the sides. This is a more serious problem, especially if you’re using this for a critical application, but it’s easily fixed by using a pen or screwdriver and squeezing it between the plastic cylinder and the metal of the side springs to make a more acute bend in them and bow them out. This allows the plug to stick in really firmly so you know it’s not going anywhere.Overall, these feel really solidly made and at the price they’re charging right now (under $7) it seems like you get a lot for what you’re paying. I mean, I think it’d be a fair price if you only got one.

    Title: Perfect For Running My Diesel Heater.
    Review: I ordered these cigarette lighter connectors to splice into the factory wiring harness for my diesel heater. This allows me many more options as it pertains to powering the heater. I would consider myself satisfied with these cigarette lighter connectors. The quality is decent enough, and they will certainly get the job done. The 14 AWG wire fit perfectly for my application. It is worth noting, however, that the ends of the plug are constructed from what I would consider a cheaper plastic material, and can likely be crushed or broken with relative ease. You will want to take care not to accidentally damage the connector.The wires come with female bullet-splice connectors preinstalled. The manufacturer also includes several male bullet-splice connectors, as well as several spare fuses. Additionally, the wires come pre-equipped with a small, clear piece of silicone tubing. I have two issues with this setup. Number one, you need a special crimping tool to properly crimp the bullet connector, essentially making them useless to most people, and, number two, the manufacturer should have included heat-shrink tubing, as the provided tubing just wants to slide up and down the wires. I wound up going an entirely different route, where in which I cut off the supplied ends, and then spliced and soldered the cigarette lighter connector directly into the harness for my diesel heater. If you want a lasting installation, I would recommend going this route. Outside of this, I have had no further issues with these cigarette lighter connectors. They are working perfectly for me so far, and I have no problem running my diesel heater with them. They must be well insulated because, to my surprise, they don’t get hot at all. I also appreciate the built-in power light, and the fact that these connectors are fused adds an extra layer of safety. If you are in need of cigarette lighter connectors for an upcoming project, allow me to recommend these.

    Review: The hold down metal clips DID NOT come with the box, and the pads were wrapped in a new blue mechanic rag.🤔 My only concern was the length of the three clips on the back of the pad, little longer in length, they go into the caliper cylinder, but after installation, they bottomed out perfect, so, I think it was a good thing, a lot better and tighter fit. Quiet, and no more squealing!

    Title: Works Great – Easy to Replace
    Review: Replacing my own brake pads saved me a ton of money. I even saved on labor and effort by having my 8 year old son replace the pads for me. They were easy to install and I can feel an improvement in braking with the new pads. Time will tell how long they last, but I consider Bosch to be a reputable company with quality products, so I have no reason to expect they won’t meet my expectations.

    Review: Did a front brake pad change for my 2010 Corolla CE and these pads fit perfectly.The brake shoes look of high quality. The kits comes with all the abutment clips and brake pad grease. I would recommend you study some youtube videos of how to installl, but all disc brakes are pretty similar.I didn’t use the included abutment clips as the current ones still look in good condition, but these clips can be hard to install (by nature of being new clips). It included brake grease, but I found it wasn’t enough to thoroughly lubricate all the parts. So I used my own Permadex brake grease to ensure I coated all metal contact points including the back of the brake pad (I applied it liberally). The new Bosch brake pads fit perfectly. And instantly – all brake squeal was gone! (although I attribute this to my liberal use of brake grease as well).Highly recommend this brand of brake pads. Very reasonable price, no squeal at all and very easy to install.

    Review: Everything about the ignition tumbler assembly is a perfect replacement. The only thing I didn’t like as much was that the included keys feel very light weight, which makes me think they might not be very sturdy or made of a soft or cheap metal, but it is easy enough for me to go have copies made at a hardware store, to replace the light weight keys that were included.

    Title: Check carefully if the switch is actually the problem
    Review: I bought this for an old 1990 ford f350. I assumed the switch was the issue as the the key would not turn the switch. Turns out, it was a broken push rod thingymajig in the steering column. I had already changed this switch out so I left it in the truck since the original switch was almost 25 years old and pretty worn. BTW it only took 2 minutes to change it out.

    Review: For 2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD these are the same length as stock so easy to count turns and put back on close to same before driving to wheel alignment shop. At $91 these are a little more expensive than other places but I needed them quicker and shipping was faster with amazon.     Review: Got these for my 2017 wrx without eyesight. Had my car in for inspection and was told I needed tires and brakes soon so I shopped around and thought I’d try these out. Did them myself and followed all the torque specs. Did the bedding process and so far they feel great. Stopping feels good and very smooth, no more vibration. Will update if I have any issues.

    Review: The kit bolted on and fits. They sent me mismatched pads. They sent me front pads for a BMW. After repetitive calls to Amazon and even R1 concepts no one was able to help or even get me the correct brake pads I needed. Amazon customer service wanted me to return the whole kit instead of sending the correct front pads. They were useless and R1 was not any help either, since this kit was bought off Amazon and not from them directly they basically said it’s not their problem, I would have to get it sorted with Amazon.Aside form this the rotors make a ticking sound when the brake pedal is pressed, apparently the noise is supposed to go away according to R1, it’s been 500 miles and the ticking continues. The brakes and rotors were installed by a mechanic correctly.Apparently people have had issues with these rotors making a ticking noise.Save your money and buy a quality set of rotors and pads, don’t waste your money on this junk kit.

I received the wrong pads when I explained to the customer service representative that I have everything installed and just need to get the front pads exchanged they told me I have to take everything off and send back the entire kit. So if you order this kit check the front pads first so you don’t finish everything then run into this issue.
