Title: It fits fine.
Review: The plastic handle is worthless but if you still have the original metal handle it’s not hard to drive the pin out and use it in this new housing, just take note on how the spring sits first and it’s not hard to get it back together. If your metal handle is broken then I would not recommend this.

Review: We have a 1988 Chevrolet “ranch truck” that gets used hard and put away wet. The OEM driver’s side door handle finally gave up and snapped off. A pair of needle nose vise grips worked in a pinch to avoid rolling down the window and using the exterior handle, but this put it back to pretty much new. The OEM handle was heavy cast aluminum. This one is plastic. Will it last another 34 years? Probably not, but neither will the truck or I.

Review: Everything on this is plastic, The OE had metal handle and metal connecting brackets. I took my OE handle and brackets, cleaned, greased and mounted to this trim piece. Mounting holes lined up correctly. Looks like new once you put in the extra work.

Review: The original handle is âpotâ metal. The new one is a plastic of some sort. One of the little bar clips broke immediately , but I had the high quality originals to use as a replacement. The two rear rivet holes didnât line up with the holes in my door, so I had to notch the plastic holes. Iâll be happy if the plastic door handle holds up over time.
