Title: Work exactly as described and intended!
Review: Used these to wire a new harness on my boat trailer for connecting marker lights, taillights, and guide poles with lights. They crimped easily with my normal wire stripper / crimper and shrunk perfectly when I used a (legitimate) heat gun. There is “adhesive” in the ID of these connectors which did flow out of the ends of the connector when heated and shrunk (exactly as intended).I have only submerged the trailer twice since installing (once for launch and once for retrieve). I tow the boat everywhere and don’t use a slip. Light worked great (I did not unplug the trailer from the truck prior to submerging the trailer).

Title: Simple to use
Review: I purchased this kit as I needed to install new lights on my utility trailer. I had no issues putting them on (I have a crimper) Took the barbeque lighter and went around the heat shrink. It only took a few passes and it had drawn down tight. Very secure. Great price with several sizes.

Title: Cost Effective !
Review: Needed a connector like this the other day for some automotive work that I was doing. Didnât have the right size in my stock. Had to go to the auto parts store, & ended up paying $6.99 for 8 of these connectors. I made my mind up that I wouldnât be caught short again. Amazon had all these for $9.95. Bought them in a second, plus these have a shrink-fit coating, which is even better. No brainer ⦠HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

Title: Butt Splices with waterproof Heat Shrink – what’s not to love?
Review: Seriously -as the title says, what’s not to love? I have an assortment of types of marine connectors – all with the heat shrink outer insulation that seals to the wire. Perfect for use in wiring trailer lighting. I use these for just about all my connections, though, where I am using a solderless terminal. I usually use heat shrink on those anyway, why not get a two in one combo? For butt splices – this seems to be the size I use the most. The 200 count package is perfect. Hopefully I will not run out quite as quickly this time around.Simple to use, providing you have the right tools to strip the wire and the right crimper to crimp the wire. I have several for both, but my go-to crimper is a ratcheting crimper. The simpler ones work just as well, though. A heat gun to shrink, or you can use a small torch (very carefully – it is easy to scorch the connector, wire, or both – the voice of experience speaking here). I have also been known to use my hot-air soldering station on occasion.
