How to use and maintain wipers

1: When using it for the first time, please firstly clean the windshield to avoid damaging the wiper rubber refill;

2: Please remove the green rubber refill protective cover before the first wiping;

3: Regularly clean the wiper rubber refill to prevent excessive residue of dirt from corroding the wiper blades;

4: On sunny days, please avoid of dry wiping without water. Because that increases friction may cause damage to the wiper rubber’s refill, so it is necessary to spray glass water;

5: If you can use slow gear to wipe, you don’t need to use fast gear to wipe. Wiping quickly and using it frequently leads to more friction, and the service life of the wiper blades will correspondingly decrease.

Review: I bought Michelin blades at Costco cuz they were cheap. But they didn’t have the right connector and Michelin ignored my request for support. These came with the right connectors out of the box, no adapter needed. 10 second install and they work just fine. Nice that the set includes the rear blade too, which is often hard to find.

Review: Used on a 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid.These were packaged well and very easy to install. I really like that all three wipers are available in one package.Nothing really too exciting about them, they seem to be made of good quality materials as well. I haven’t had them too long, but they seem like they will last well.I would definitely recommend.

Review: I have had them on my 2018 Hyundai Santa fe for a few days now and they work perfect. There is no streaking, easy to assemble, and they are very quiet. Review: Went to Auto Zone find the replaced wipers for Mercedes-Benz GLE350 from windshield but no resources fit and heard Mercedes customized it’s wiper for recent products, their store will be the only source to buy one.Fortunately I had my vehicle info saved and Amazon suggested the suitable product later on, just $20+ for the full set includes 2 front and 1 rear wipers. Even though a little noise during raining but workable as expected.Super!

Review: I struggled at first, how do I install this wiper on my 2020 CRV? It doesn’t match the bad one that I’m removing! It’s cold and my hands are feeling the 20 degrees. Back in the house where I continued to compare the old with the new. They must have shipped me the wrong part ! I’ll give it anther try tomorrow… Fresh start. Back to the Web Site.. (Who reads the instructions? Obviously, not me!) There it was on the product’s page, a perfectly clear “video” of how to install this quality wiper blade. Do yourself a favor, checkout the video and then go replace the wiper in 30 seconds, no gloves required !

Title: Great blades!
Review: I won’t mention the widely known name of the more expensive wiper blades (which included a water repellant) that I purchased before this pair. But, they sucked and wore out quickly. These wiper blades are tons better. I commute a bit, and park my truck outside. So, I use the wash and wipe function daily. These blades work better than expected, make zero noise, wipe smoothly, and were easy to install! Highly recommend! I will be purchasing this brand again!

Review: The 24″/20″ front wiper blade combo pack fit my 2015 Kia Soul perfectly. Easily installed with no extra hardware required and seem secured to the wiper arms after tugging the wiper blades to verify. Review: Living in NY good wiper blades are a must. After just 4 months of owning my new car, the wipers have already degraded. Since we’re in the middle of winter I needed a replacement ASAP. Review: These wipers looked and felt like high quality and a second pair I purchased for a VW gulf work excellent without any chatter or streaking. This set was supposed to fit a 2013 VW Touareg according to amazon part fitting but wasn’t even close. Too bad because they work good and were 20 bucks less.

Title: Not cheap, but the quality is there.
Review: Of all the parts in your car, none can save your life like a good, fresh set of wipers. These aren’t cheap, but for something that increases your chance of survival in nasty conditions, they’re worth every cent. I replace my wipers every six months. Don’t go cheap when it comes to protecting yourself and those in your vehicle. If you haven’t had Trico before, try a set and see what you think.

Title: The install takes quite a bit of patience
Review: It took an extended period of time to first understand the picture instruction. Once over that hurdle figuring out which of the many hardware options was correct for my vehicle took a slightly less extended period of time. At one point I was convinced the wipers would not fit and I would return the wipers and visit the local auto parts store. However, in the end they indeed fit, but there must be a better way to present instructions than the ones that came with these wipers.I consider myself a handy individual. I would not recommend these wipers to someone who is not handy and who does not like a challenge.

Noisy and jumpy, I hated having to turn my wipers on.So I swapped them out for these ones from Trico – and I couldn’t be happier. Yes – the instructions leave a little bit to be improved upon – but thank goodness for YouTube.These ones are quiet, non-skip & work perfectly. Don’t waste your $$ on more expensive blades. Title: Incredible value and high quality blades
Review: Installation is very YMMV, since everyone has different blades. These didn’t work on the rear blade of one of my cars, but fit perfectly for the fronts of many of my other cars. Blades are very smooth and I’d definitely recommend this as replacements for BMWs. (Works well with 2016 BMW F87 M2, should be the same for any F chassis).

Title: Saves $ and works well
Review: Installing these did require some time and patience, but the result was as good as the much more expensive alternative of replacing an entire wiper when only the rubber blade is worn. Read the instructions carefully, have a magnifying glass handy so you can see what you’re doing and have a little patience the first time. I have had these on the car for a couple months and see no difference from a complete wiper change. Saves a lot of $ if you are willing to put in the 20-30 minutes it might take to wrestle the blades into the existing wiper arm.

Title: Easy to fit to existing blades; much cheaper than replacing the whole blade
Review: On two cars with 26″ wipers, it was easy to pull out the existing rubber and feed these in; no tools required. One wiper was much easier than the other to swap, so YMMV. Also very easy to cut a piece down with kitchen scissors to replace the rubber in a shorter blade. Even if these last only half as long as the rubber in a complete wiper assembly replacement, it’s saving a lot of waste and the cost is far less.

Review: Worked for me, windshield & rear wipers.These require basic craftsmanship/mechanical skills to install properly. If you want a super-easy quick snap in replacement, buy full blades. Otherwise; Go Slow, Be Careful, Save Money.OEM manufacturers have their own styles of blades, as do different brands of aftermarket blades. Look carefully at the refills on your current blades to see the shape of the ends of the rubber, and the dimensions, to make sure they are similar to the pics shown with the description of these refills. I will only speak to the style I just installed.Mine have the thin, refill-length stabilizing metal strips. When we used to buy refills, the strips came in the rubber refills. This refill does not have them, because you can re-use the strips from the old refills, if you don’t ruin them removing the old refill from the blade.These refills come as two pairs, with each pair joined at the windshield side. Do not cut them apart. They separate very easily by hand with no damage if you are gentle. I measured the length vs the old one, and cut the length about 1/4″ longer on each end than the original.Take the blade off the wiper arm. Then sit down and install the refill. Trying to do this on the car is a recipe for frustration.There are different methods used to clip the refill into the blade, so you’ll have to figure out what you’re dealing with as you prepare to remove the old refill. Mine had little tangs sticking out of the metal strips at one end that I had to squeeze together with needle nose pliers. Of course, don’t over-squeeze. The short blade on the rear window had one of the grips at the end crimped slightly into the rubber of the refill to hold it in place. This is where common mechanical sense and attention to detail pay off.Feed the refill into the grips with the clip end LAST. The tricky part is getting the metal strips into the appropriate grooves, then feeding the refill into each of the grips on the blade, while making sure not to stretch the refill or move the metal strips too far one way or the other as you feed it through. Double check the position of the strip in the refill before you snap it into place. Make sure all the grips stayed in the rubber grooves, or the unevenness will mess up the rubber’s contact with the windshield.Every blade manufacturer had their own cute tricks to secure the refills. Make sure yours are compatible with this brand of refill before you order.If there are any issues with wear, I’ll revisit this review. If I don’t update it, they lasted fine.

Title: Don’t stay on, noisy, skippy
Review: These blades have nothing to hold them on, so of course they work themselves loose. The factory blades on my RAV4 had a plastic clip on the end that held the blades in, but these don’t. They ran smooth at first, but within days they were skipping across the windshield and making tons of noise. Complete waste of money. Into the trash they go. Buy cheap, buy twice.

Title: Refills your old stainless steel pinch style rubber refill/insert holders used on older vehicles.
Review: Used this to refill my Chevy C10 wiper blades. Removed the old stainless steel inserts from the wiper blade. Removed the old rubber from the inserts and installed this new rubber thru the rectangular slot opening in the bottom end of the SS rubber holder and slide onto the SS insert. A little tedious but can be done without too much trouble. Saves $$$ over buying costly reproduction inserts for older vehs from OER.

Review: Wipers on new Volvo XC60 were not performing and leaving smears despite looking perfectly new. Changing them resolved the issue. Found them to be better quality – more rigid yet flexible. Easy to replace by sliding into existing channel.
