Title: very well constructed
Review: No datasheet was provided, would have been nice to have a mechanical drawing of the cutout size needed for panel mount. Not a huge issue, created my panel mount design and 3-D printed a panel for use with a LiFePo battery. Well constructed. Snap action cover is a nice feature. The provided wiring with an in-line fuse I’ve found to be inadequately sized for continuous 10A operation (in the past the fuse holder melted). I suggest using 14 or 12-gauge wiring with a user-provided blade fuse holder.

Review: Specs are wrong for this POS. Says it requires a 1.22″ hole. I did a test fit in my lighter hole which is 1.10″ and it nearly fell through the hole. No way would the spring tabs keep it in the hole.Waste of money; don’t buy if you have a standard cigarette lighter hole.

Title: Makes life easier while traveling
Review: My wife and I are traveling the country in our 1994 motorhome. Being that the motorhome is a older one it only has one cigarette lighter port ( or for you young people a 12 volt port). With all the gadgets that we use while traveling (gps, phones, tablets etc…) we needed more ports to power them all. Remember the old days when your grand parents would travel all over this country and all they had was a map that they bought at a gas station. How did they ever survive! Anyway, this was the answer we need to power all the gadgets we use while in our travels. Each power port has on and off buttons so you don’t have to unplug the gadget plugged into that port and only power it up when you need it. What I most like about it is shows the battery/ alternator output. And of course being able to use my gps when my wife has to charge her phone because she runs it down while being on the phone all the time texting. Never understand why someone would spend five minutes texting someone when you could call them and say the same thing in less than a minute. Anyway, To keep it from flopping around while we travel and becoming a head penetrating missile in a accident. I put Velcro on the back of it and on the dash. I used VHB tape to secure the Velcro on the power port and the dash. This way it can be removed from the dash and used other places when we are not traveling. It is working well and is meeting our needs. And by the way I still plan our trips using a paper maps before I ever turn on the gps. Because a gps does have a sense of humor and will route you to BFE just because it can.

Review: I love this thing, I wish I would have bought it long ago. The install was ease with the Velcro. The voltage readout is useful, but the readings tend to drop as you use more power due to voltage drop. For example, when I had a 60w adapter and two of the built in USB in use, the voltage readout was about 0.7 to 1 volt lower than my actual voltage.The quality seems good and I think its worth every penny for my use case since I have other things to plug in like my seat warmer that require a whole cigarette lighter to get power. Anyway, I would recommend this especially since can turn of any port with the press of a button including the built in USBs.

Review: I bought this for my mom’s vehicle and she hasn’t had any issues with it whatsoever in the past few months of using it. This adapter not only provides more than enough spaces to plug in all of your accessories, it also has a nice build quality and the coiled cord doesn’t leave you needing to hide a couple feet of extra wire. I will be buying another one soon for my car because it’s much better in every way than the power hub I bought from Walmart over a year ago for $25.

Title: Very robust feeling, great for fixing some car accessories!
Review: I had a car-powered tire inflator that I really loved, but it had one Achilles’ heel: the lighter plug was absolute garbage. I have no idea to this day why they decided to chintz on that one detail, when the rest of it seemed likely to survive a nuclear blast, but one day it came apart in my lighter socket, blew out the fuse in my car, and started a small fire. Awesome…So, that inflator sat unused for a year or two after that. I replaced the fuse in my car, and I kept looking at that inflator, trying to decide how to move on. It was sad for me to see it sitting lonely and unused in a corner of my garage. One day, I decided to investigate what it would take to fix it. I came across these, and placed my order. When I received them, I immediately noticed something simple this had that the original didn’t: a screw holding the plastic shell together. AMAZING! Also, it has a light that tells you when the +12V is flowing. Bonus!I cut the wires, crimped the wires together, and applied copious heatshrink and covered the joint with the plastic sheath these came with, and yet more heatshrink, because I just don’t want another fire. So far, so good! Works great, and I have absolutely no clue what to do with the second one. Now it sits in the corner of my garage, lonely and waiting for its turn to shine, when another accessory inevitably comes with a crummy lighter plug that needs replacement. Good deal for an heir and a spare to the throne of the King of the Lighter Plugs.

Review: I wouldn’t call this “heavy duty” but it’s medium duty and a generally good deal for the price.Two small complaints; first the clear tubing the wire connections looks like heat shrink but it is not. I stock heat shrink tubing so not a big deal for me, just something to be aware of. Second, the crimp connections on the wire ends are huge, no where near as small as 16AWG. You could probably get 6AWG to fit in them (I didn’t try so don’t quote me). I probably should have just cut them off and used 16AWG butt connectors but instead I decided to use what it came with. I stripped my 16AWG wires that I would attach, doubled them over just to make them fatter and crimped with my professional crimpers. No way those crimps were tight. Fortunately, the barrels came with nice plating and I was able to solder them with ease, but again if you’re not able to do this you might not get a good connection.

Avoid it.Update: the problem with the dashcam powering off was not the converter it was the Anker battery pack, when set in trickle charge mode, cutting off the power. Discovered through quite a bit of testing. Apologies to the seller.

Title: Disappointed with Functionality – Returning It
Review: I bought the USB A Male to 12V Car Cigarette Lighter Socket Female Converter Cable to power a small dashcam, thinking it would be a simple solution for converting USB power to 12V. Unfortunately, my experience with this adapter has been nothing but disappointing.The biggest issue is that it simply doesn’t provide enough power to properly run any of the devices I intended to use. Despite the product’s claim of handling 12V at 8W max, it consistently failed to power even basic devices like my dashcam and portable fan. The devices would either not start at all or would stop working after a few minutes. This suggests the converter doesn’t deliver the required voltage and wattage reliably, making it completely unreliable for most applications.On top of that, the build quality feels cheap. The connectors feel loose, and I’m concerned they could easily break or wear out quickly. I’ve also had issues with the USB connection; it doesn’t stay securely in the socket, which led to several disconnections during use.I understand this is a budget item, but it still needs to meet basic functionality, and this product just doesn’t. I will be returning it because it didn’t perform as advertised and doesn’t meet the minimum power requirements for any of my devices. Save yourself the hassle and look for a better-quality converter.

Title: Great solution
Review: My car (13 Ford Edge Limited) power plugs run 24/7 whether the car is running or not. This is a great less expensive option to be able to control that. Whether it’s the “cig lighters” or usb ports it drained energy constantly. Now I can turn off power to multiple sources all with one switch or can turn off power individually. It’s great really. The cable quality is good enough to withstand the console pressing down on it. While lightweight it is pretty sturdy. Good buy.

Review: it comes with double sided velcro to mount it. Each socket has it’s own on off switch and the unit also has an on off switch. The main cig power plug has a volt reading of the vehicle.

Review: This unit took it out of the box. It worked perfect as described. It comes with a large piece of Velcro that fits on the bottom side of the unit, and it is super sticky be prepared to tug really hard if you decide to remove it from the dash. I really liked that I can turn off each individual plug so I can charge a battery overnight without having my radar detector turned on. And I can also turn my dash camera on and off with this unit. If I decide to leave, it turned on at night and record or if I put it in the garage, I can shut the power off to the camera. Really nice piece for the money.

Review: This is a handy little adapter if you’re running low current devices. I use mine to power separate 10- and 11-meter band radios, as well as a portable TV. Comes with a few spare fuses and a Velcro pad for mounting.I really like the independent power switches and the voltmeter. Has some USB ports for charging things like my portable lanterns.

Review: My previous cigarette lighter adapter kept loosening with every bump I hit while driving due to its clunky design. This adapter is 💯 better. Comes with double sided tape so it can be mounted to any flat surface. Super easy installation. With LIHAN 3 Socket Car Charger Adapter, Type-C QC3.0 PD 30W Charging, Dual USB Charging Ports, it can handle many devices at once. The Independent Switches can be turned off or on as needed and the 3ft Plug Outlet is low profile so bumps on the road won’t cause it to loosen. Well designed and worth the money.
